*hopes this move will be dubbed with the original VAs*

*is now getting strange looks from everyone*

What, why are you guys looking at me like that?

Hey, I can dream, can't I? XD

Of course, I'm only joking here, lol. ;-)

But in all seriousness, I want to remind everyone that this will be the first Pokemon movie done with the new VAs. I hope that everyone realizes this.

I realize this, and it depresses me every time I think about it.

I mean, other than the Mastermind special, the new VAs have never been in an actual movie. So I'm not sure how well they will do. I don't know. Maybe I'm just worried and being paranoid again.

Are you guys confident that the new VAs will be able to pull off a great Pokemon movie?

They're taking a chance having the word "temple" in the title. You know how the religious nuts get. But then, the religious nuts who would have a problem with that also stopped paying attention to Pokemon the time Harry Potter came out.

Yeah, you're right, Blackjack. That's true about the temple thing. ^^

I didn't think of that.

I like the title, sounds alot more....well, "mature" then Pokemon 4Ever or Pokemon Jirachi Wish Maker.

Anyway, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a Widescreen version!

Oh, and I hope Jacky and Phantom (who will stay the same probably) get cool voices.

(from dictionary.com)
Temple: a building, usually large or pretentious, devoted to some public use: a temple of music

The word "temple" doesn't have to mean a place where you worship.

I'm a Christian, and it doesn't bother me.

That's what we'd all like to know, don't we. Find out this time next week!

And we have the second movie in a row with the Japanese name practically recreated.

Fun.

Well, it would have been less of a match had I chosen "ocean" for the translation of 蒼海(うみ) - but on the other hand, perhaps that would have influenced PUSA to choose "Temple of the Ocean". We'll never know. I suppose "ocean" is less... um, poetic? Certainly, "blue seas" sounds better than "blue oceans".

I liked the name Jirachi -- Wishmaker!. It illustrated how even though Jirachi didn't directly grant any wishes, he was the cause of everyone's wishes coming true. I think it was tons better than the Japanese version, as it was short, sweet, to the point, and defined the movie perfectly without any plot give aways.

Anyways, it's kool. I trust everyone will do well unless Ash has an emotional scene. XP Don't worry Sarah, I'm just playing! I'm sure she'll do her best. :p

Aww......

I so badly wanted to see Veronica voice Ash in this movie. :-(

*sighs*

Maybe Sarah will surprise me, and actually reach my expectations, by giving me a great performance with a highly improved Ash voice.

And while I'm very doubtful about that happening, hey, I can only hope.

I agree. I thought that title was very cool - and the logo rocked as well =D
By the way.. that was on Cartoon Network today. Great movie.

Why does everybody think Jirachi is the Wishmaker? Isn't MAX the Wishmaker? Does Jirachi not call him that in the movie itself? Isn't a Wishmaker someone who MAKES wishes? ^^; -straying off-topic-

Didn't they mention it at the Comic Con?

I hope they make two versions. Or heck, put it on one DVD. It's not like they have any other special features to fill empty spaces (although some behind the scenes and/or commentary would be good)
