Here's the gist: Taylor Swift won for Best Female. While she was giving her acceptance speech, Kanye jumped up on stage, snatched the mic from her, and started going on about how it was Beyoncé that had the better video... Afterwards, every time Kanye's name was mentioned, the crowed booed.

Beyoncé won an award later and allowed Taylor to finish her speech.
