Multiple Dead Infants Found on Property In Ocean City, Maryland, USA, Mother Charged

To sum up the story thus far:

Christy Freeman, an Ocean City cab driver and mother to 4 children, was rushed to a hospital by her boyfriend in order to mend 'wounds' and other problems she blamed on ulcers or stomach problems.

Medical examinations deemed that she had been pregnant and her problems obviously stemmed from that. Not sure what she did with the baby, she was questioned [when she came to] as to what happened.

She revealed that she had tried to force a birth unsuccessfully. Her [32 week old] son was stillborn thus she felt obliged to rid of her fetus.

When police went to investigate where she left her fetus, they came across another dead baby, yet somewhat older and more decayed.

FBI agents were apparently brought in to investigate the matter further. Their investigation uncovered 3 baby fetus's total plus Christy's son.

The fact of the matter is that it is still unclear whether or not the other fetus's are connected to her.

Local speculation is
A, she happened to abort her baby in a house that happened to have a history of aborted babies.

B, she may have aided in aborting babies in the past.

C, she may be overly stressed from the fact she already has 4 children and in desperation, forced an early birth.

Like I said it's just speculation and nothing can be determined until the lab results are finished.

Still, nothing I was too happy to listen to Monday morning. Sad case, really.
 
This is just sick and twisted.
I don't see how anyone can do that to a little baby, fetus or not.
I almost threw up reading this article.
It's sad to see how some people can be so cruel.

Can't say I really know how to respond to this - my first thought was that she's been sleeping around with some folks, kept getting pregnant, and wanted abortions on each one but didn't want to go to an abortion clinic... out of fear of ostracization maybe? The article implies a tight-knit community, and I wouldn't doubt for a moment that these people would be heavily religious. On the other hand, we don't know if the fetuses are hers, so there is the small chance that she might have been running a wire-hanger abortion service on the down low, so to speak.

Odd story.

I do think the vandalism was out of line though.
