I am going to probably open myself up for plenty of hassle by admitting this, but...I actually like Mcfly. Shocking I know, a straight guy who likes Mcfly. I have no problem at all with people not being fans of them, but I take exception at some of the venom aimed at people who are fans of bands not considered "cool" by some people.

at least they say he writes awful songs, thanks to having been rather crappily marketed by their old label Mcfly apparentely can't

b) play live
c) write their own songs.
They may not be as good as many other bands, but if it was a choice between them and Westlife/Girls Aloud I'd take them every time.
