This might be a scary and lousy deck, but at least it's something different to play with, I guess. Any suggestions?

Strip down the Pokémon to 2-3 types max. Your energy is too scattered, and you'll never draw it. Condense down the trainers as well. No point having so many trainers, yet only 1 copy of each.

If you're looking for a 4 corners style deck, my suggestion would be to try combining Lanturn, Magcargo, Ninjask and Rhydon evolution lines.

I'm not suggesting he play a four courners deck. I am suggesting he play a Ludicargo deck, which uses Rhydon and Lanturn. Ludicargo is much, much better than four courners, and a lot of other decks, especially the varients that use Rhydon and Lanturn. My own Ludicargo deck uses Rhydon and Lanturn, which get rid of the Zapdos and other Water Pokemon. I suppose you could call my Ludicargo four courners, since it uses four different types.

Granted....but it's also a lot more expensive to put together, something which the card list suggests might not be doable for him. Not all of us have huge card collections.
