This is my art thread, here's a picture of a Latias I drew

Aww, it's cute. ^__^ Yes, welcome.

Latias is the cuteness, and all who draw her rule!

Great job! :)

Thanks! Here's an Ashychu I drew about a month ago

Here's a pokemon trainer I drew, it is Kenta

Oh come on Bayleef. You can go by your own name. I've seen your Deviantart gallery, so I know it's you.

A Chinchou I drew a while ago

Latias is so adorable! I tried drawing her once, but I couldn't get the shape of her body right, she always came out looking demented -.-" Cute Ashychu, too!

They are all very cute. If I were you, when coloring with crayons, try to color in little circles instead of lines. It really gives a nice effect.

Thanks, here's a Treecko. I messed up on his body

Not too much messed up. altough his body does look a bit strange. But still, it loks ok

I know this is going to be a bit mean but generally, I'd just like to point out what improvements your general art style may need. If you could try this, learn to shade, try to apply some backgrounds, and not color so hard with your pencil crayons, you're making streaks. It's nice to see that you're drawing though, and I hope you continue to practice.

I don't mean to sound dumb. But, what is shading?

 Shading is putting in lighter and darker areas in your picture, depending onn wher it's light and dark. when done right (and I suck at it, only computershading works for me, a bit  ) it gives a lively, sometimes (if done well) realistic effect. You already did it a bit with the Porygon. Some of it's part are darker colored then orthers. And you should really try coloring in little circles instead of lines, and try not to press on the crayons to much, it leaves too dark parts wich do not fit with the whole picture. OMG, I just sound like my artteacher right now, repeating everything he once said to me ;-)

Its going to be hard for me to learn shading because im not in any art class

here's a Cacnea I drew months ago

Just give it a try, you already did a bit of shading on that Porygon, nad you didn't even know it ;-) Just keep on practising :)

Shading is defined as places where light does not hit it as well. Generally studying 3d models, or thinking in that sort of mode really helps. Observing objects works too. But I don't think it is necessary to take a class. When I was finally taught shading in school, evidently I had been shading for over a year.
Consider experimenting with it.

Here's an Ashychu that was drawn a couple months ago
