Hey there. What do think of this team? I'm new to competetive battling, but I've studied a lot. This team is not tier-specific.

Swellow- Jolly @ Flame Orb
Guts
4 HP / 252 Att / 252 Spd
- Protect
- Facade
- Brave Bird
- U-turn

(This Swellow is an amazing lead, in my opinion. Swellow is the sixth fastest non-legendary Pokemon. After Protect, Facade does an amazing 315 base damage! That takes care of everything except Rock, Steel, and Ghost types. Brave Bird handles Ghosts, and U-turn is there to run away from Rock and Steel types).

Alakazam- Modest @ Life Orb
Synchronize
4 HP / 252 SA / 252 Spd
- Psychic
- Signal Beam
- Energy Ball
- Shadow Ball

Electrivire- Adamant @ Expert Belt
Motor Drive
4 HP / 252 Att / 252 Spd
- ThunderPunch
- Ice Punch
- Brick Break
- Earthquake

Togekiss- Modest @ Leftovers
Serene Grace
244 HP / 152 SA / 104 Spd
- Thunder Wave
- Air Slash
- Shadow Ball
- Aura Sphere

Heracross- Adamant @ Wide Lens
Guts
4 HP / 252 Att / 252 Spd
- Megahorn
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

Starmie- Modest @ Life Orb
Natural Cure
4 HP / 252 SA / 252 Spd
- Surf
- Psychic
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt

So what do you think? Not durable enough? Not enough support moves? What?

First thing I see right off the bat is large lack of bulk. Now I'm not good with rating with OU Pokemon like I've said before, but your only real 'bulky' Pokemon are Heracross and Togetic.. and even then only really Togekiss is running a bulky set.

I'm still trying to learn battling techs and why things are the way that they are too.

The major thing I see is that any wall stall will kill you. Also any stealth rockers and toxic/toxic spikers... well any status makers will seriously hurt you, no matter how fast you are. I would find some sweepers to help you out and get rid of Alakazam or Starmie, especially since they pretty much do the same, have the same stats, and will fall the same way.

The major glaring thing that I see is your weakness. A Gengar will wreck your team like none other. Same with any other floaters. You'll have a hard time with fast ghosts or electrics or icys. You may want to change things around to not have so many weaknesses to a type.

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the tips. Any suggestions are welcome.

Which is more useful: a tough Heracross or a fast Heracross? He's not really fast overall, so I'm thinking it would be better to strengthen his HP and/or defenses, rather than his speed. His 4x Flying weakness always gets me, though.

Also, what do you think of this Blissey?

Blissey- Bold @ Leftovers
Natural Cure
156 HP / 252 Def / 100 SA
- Counter
- Toxic
- Softboiled
- Ice Beam

I haven't seen many Blisseys with Counter, but I think it's a great move. Special attacks do nothing to her, and she can bounce back physical attacks for twice the damage-- that's often a OHKO. She can't take ghosts, though. Dusknoir would give her a serious problem.

In the Bulky corner, which do you think is better between this Swampert and this Torterra?

Swampert- Adamant @ Leftovers
Torrent
132 HP / 252 Att / 60 Def / 60 SD
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Avalanche
- Hammer Arm

Torterra- Adamant @ Leftovers
Overgrow
96 HP / 252 Att / 160 SD
- Leech Seed
- Seed Bomb
- Earthquake
- Crunch

I try to keep their defenses in balance. Is that wise or at all necessary? Both of them have those pesky 4x weaknesses.

I also have this Ursaring:

Ursaring- Adamant @ Flame Orb
Guts
48 HP / 252 Att / 104 Def / 104 SD
- Protect
- Facade
- Ice Punch
- Earthquake

It's basically a slower, tougher version of my Swellow-- I wouldn't use them in the same fight together.

Alakazam: change special defense EVs to defense and energy ball to focus blast or hp fight\
the rest are excellent, although you may want cross chop on e-vire

That's not Special Defense on Alakazam; it's Speed <_< And you don't want Defense EVs on Alakazam anyway because it can't take physical hits AT ALL.

Also, Energy Ball is okay, but you might want to put Focus Blast in place of Shadow Ball. You could also go with a Trickzam because just Psychic/Signal Beam/Focus Blast alone has good coverage. If you do want to use Shadow Ball, put it in place of Signal Beam.

You might want to make Alakazam Timid. Like Tina said you're lacking general bulk. You might want to use either Alakazam or Starmie and switch out whichever you don't use for something physically bulky, like a Gliscor, Relaxed Swampert, or Rhyperior.

Wouldn't your Swellow benefit more from a Toxic Orb than a Flame Orb? Burn status halves your attack stat, I thought. :|

Not if the Pokemon has the ability Guts. It negates the 1/2 Attack effect in addition to multiplying it by 1.5.

I chose the Flame Orb because it takes 5 turns for Bad Poison to kill a Pokemon, but 8 turns for Burn to kill a Pokemon.

I could go with either one, though, since Swellow probably won't survive more than 5 turns anyway.
