My dream Pokémon game for the Wii would be an MMORPG, based on the main line of handheld games. However, instead of the standard Pokémon and trainer models, the monsters would be redesigned to be realistic, and the trainers would look like real people. Players could customize their features based on age, gender, and a variety of other options.
Voice recognition would allow people to call out their nicknamed (or not) Pokémon and their moves. An option at the beginning of the game would allow the player to speak several hundred words into a microphone one time each so that after battles, instead of simply reading text on-screen, would hear their own voice coming from their character. It would be choppy, of course, but at least it's a little more involved.
As part of the Pokémon redesign, each monster one encounters would have slightly different coloration and features from the rest of its breed. When giving our Pokémon hold items, that item would be visibly attached to the Pokémon.
Contests would have one use the Wii remote to "conduct" one's Pokémon.
I have no idea how good Pokémon Battle Revolution will be, but it won't, of course, be realistic as I would love to see.
