My favorite team which I retired a while ago.

How do you get Rain Dance in against an Aerodactyl lead?

You lead with an Electrode, that's how. Any other RD team lead is silly, in my opinion. It's a sacrifice lead. And it explodes.

Also, I prefer a RD + Damp Rock Jirachi in place of Scizor. Give it Thunder and Wish, so you have Wish support as well.

Aerodactyl never gave me too many problems since I run Scizor. I ran Electrode before, and it is honestly pretty cool! I just like the early rocks, as they will try to pivot stall your rain and the early rocks punishes them for that.

Wish support is helpful, but Rachi doesn't beat certain things Scizor beats. Parahax Thunder is nice, but why do you need to paralyze things when you are already faster than pretty much anything in Rain? It would also give me a ground weakness.

Thanks for the rate though, I will take your advice into consideration. =)

The Thunder has nothing to do with parahax, it's just an added benefit. It's a powerful move and has 100% accuracy in rain.

Jirachi is there for it's resistances and Wish support. And either way, first turn you will NOT get RD off against Aero.

But it's up to you. You technically can play RD multiple ways, I just do not like it without an Electrode. Simply will not play it without him.

Yeah, but I wouldn't waste time swinging with Jirachi. I would want to go directly into a Swift Swimmer, and wreck havoc with that while I still have my RD up. However, yes Thunder is a very good move on that set, and understand why it is there.

Wish Support is always helpful, and are the resistences, but eh I like Scizor's utility.

Electrode is an amazing RD lead, I don't blame you lol. I will try the stuff out, thanks for the rate once again.

I'm biased because I truly dislike all RD teams that don't run Qwilfish, Jirachi, and Electrode.

Of course you don't waste time with Jirachi, you use Jirachi to clean up. You RD with Electrode, Explode, then send in Qwilfish. Qwilfish cleans up and explodes on the counter. Kingdra comes in and kills the rest, going down like a tank.

If necessary, you bring in Jirachi with Rain Dance (which usually isn't the case), but if rain runs out... use it again to have 100% accurate Thunder to tear them apart. Plus wish to heal yourself.

It always works for me. I love it. *Shrug* I'll have to battle you with my RD team once.

I don't know, Aero may mess up Azelf, but it has complete permission to switch out when it sees Aero leads. Aero leads probably wont OHKO Scizor or Bronzong, and Scizor even has a decent chance of KOing Aero or forcing a switch.

However, Thunder on a RD team really does help a lot as far as taking care of other RD teams (that try to bum off of your Rain) goes. You do have HP Electric at least though. But hey, if you can't make room for Thunder, and your team is doing great already, why change anything?

It's just weird to me. There's no Thunder at all... you're not taking full advantage of RD.

It's like you're only half rain dance... which is weird.

Mhm, I prefer Kabutops though over Qwilfish.

Thunder is optional in Rain Dance teams in my opinion. I try my hardest to focus on the swift swimmer core and their ridiculously powerful water attacks. I support that with other pokemon which beat pokemon that hinder my ability to spam those ridiculous water attacks.
