I don't know what the exact definition of a pixel-over is, but this is what I did.
I got this picture (it's big):
Then I shrank it down to 10%:
I started with the outline (and added a green background for transparency later):
Then I cleared out everything besides the outline (which I do not have an image of)
Afterwards, I filled it in with colors from the real HGSS sprite:
I added shading and stuff:
Finally, I added transparency:
And there it is! 2 hours of hard work. It's standard sprite size (80x80) but it's still a little big.
Comparison with the original picture and the HGSS sprite:
So what do you guys think?
EDIT: I made two blue versions of it - which one do you think is better?
