Okay, so today I decided to try and make a team. I'm quite new on making teams, and as so I'm using Smogon as reference. Also, I use this team in the Shoddy Battle, if that matters.
Anyway, here are the 6 Pokés I'm using:
Forte, the Forretress
Relaxed, @Shed Shell
Ability: Sturdy
252 HP, 112 ATK, 144 Def
Moves:
~Toxic Spikes
~Gyro Ball
~Stealth Rock
~Explosion
Ye old entry hazard. If the other lead isn't poison or steel type, it'll set up Toxic Spikes, if possible 2 layers. Generally it's screwed up by this phase, but if it manages to survive it'll set up Stealth Rock and explode away or use Gyro Ball depending on the Poké it's facing. If the other lead is poison/steel, Forte will start at the Stealth Rock phase instead. Lastly, if the lead is something that'll screw it up in no time (aka Fire types), Forte will simply try its luck and explod away to do something useful.
Slowqueen, the Slowking
Modest, @Leftovers
Ability: Own Tempo
212 HP, 44 Def, 252 Spe. ATK
Moves:
~Nasty Plot
~Surf
~Ice Beam
~Slack Off
Special sweeper. Usually Slowqueen has time to set up at least one Nasty Plot because of the switching the opponent usually does if I send it to counter. Even with type disavantage, Slowqueen can do, on my own experience, some impressive damage.
Hiperactivo, the Vigoroth
Adamant, @Salac Berry
Ability: Vital Spirit
252 ATK, 4 Spe. Def, 252 Speed
Moves:
~Endure
~Flail
~Reversal
~Night Slash
I found this set quite interesting, especially to counter strong foes with mid speed. I try to switch Hiperactivo when I have a chance damage him a bit, so the next time it'll just have to Endure and use Reversal/Flail(if the foe is resistant to Reversal). Night Slash is a last resort move agains Ghost/Psychic types.
Hipnotica, the Hypno
Calm, @Leftovers
Ability: Insomnia
252 HP, 56 Def, 200 SpD
Moves:
~Seismic Toss
~Hypnosis
~Wish
~Reflect
It's an UU set, but it works quite well even in OU. Hipnotica starts by setting up Wish or, if I feel lucky or that the foe is dangerous, it starts with Hypnosis, then Wish. After wish, it sets up Reflect and keeps doing the Seismic Toss/Wish combo, refreshing Reflect when needed. I never used it as a Wish passer, but I guess I should consider so.
Verdeco, the Sceptile
Naive, @Life Orb
Ability: Overgrow
252 Atk, 80 SpA, 176 Spe
Moves:
~Leaf Storm
~Focus Blast
~Earthquake
~X-Scissor
A mixed sweeper. Basicly I use the right move to counter, no big strategy here.
Bicha, the Electivire
Mild, @Expert
Ability: Motor Drive
36 Atk, 252 Spe. ATK, 220 Spe
~Thunderbolt
~Hidden Power Ice
~Cross Chop
~Flamethrower
Another mix, and again, no big stratagy, just type counter
And that's it. Any help is appreciated, and I know, this team ain't very good :sweatlol:
