I wasn't sure about the yellow, so I did two versions.

I spent a lot of time on this, but there are the expected mistakes, of course. The two legs to our left are scratched, as Ariados is crouched, putting it's weight on its left (I think.) Rate and comment, plz.

Its actually nice, Flavour. Do more of these and you'll surely improve.

IMO, the scratched legs are pretty good, but look slightly different than the right(thats our right) legs. The bulge in the legs should be a bit lower than it currently is.

And I read that you need a tutor. Check this out.

Thanks very much, Kingdra. I've heard your a great splicer. I appreciate the help, and the tutorial.

thats actually a pretty cool sprite
my 1st splice was much worse ^__^

Well, as I said, I spent a lot of time on it. BTW, what do you think of this one?

I know what I think. It's horrible, compared to my last. I had to lengthen the left arm (ours). Just rate, hate...whatever.

The Quaggy part needs better shading, I think.

Yeah, but where? The hand and crest covers the top, and the light source is top left...take a look at my third, in a new thread. Just look around The Artist's Alcove.

Unless the face is completely flat, there would still be at least a little bit of highlight on it. Also, I think you can put more highlight on the lower body as well.

At the very least you could add a second (darker) colour of shading to give the shadows more depth. Right now it's very flat.
