It looks nice for your first try, but the colors, at least for me,is a little bit weird.

Try to decide on one color scheme, and make the entire sprite those colors, rather then having it all mismatched. Still, a good start none-the-less

^ What he said. When you put sprites together, you should blend the colours in as well, otherwise it looks all mismatched.
