My Friends Fake Next Gen Starters (Used with permission)

They're cute! They remind me of something... but I can't place my finger on it... (Not remind me as in copy something else, but the drawing style reminds me of something else)
 
They're really good but they have too much of a simularity about them. It looks like they should be a trio and not the starters.
 
The water type starter looks a bit like gatomon from digimon...
 
They do, don't they? I love those games... but seriously. They are too alike.
