Hypothetical because I'm a procrastinator.
Also, keep in mind I am a coordinator with no experience in competitive battling. Because of this I'm only using my favorite Pokémon. But alas, onto the Pokémon!

205.png

Forretress @ Leftovers
Evs: 252 HP/ 115 Attack/ 140 Defense
Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Relaxed
Gyro Ball
Spikes
Rapid Spin
Rest

Basically something that can do some damage and is very hard to take down.

Spr_4p_197.png

Umbreon @ Sitrus Berry
Evs: 252 HP/ 100 Attack/ 125 Special Defense
Ability: Synchronize
Nature: Careful
Wish
Payback
Yawn
Pursuit

I want Umbreon to be able to do some damage and at the same time I wanted to make it a bit tricky to take down. Did I do it right?

Spr_4d_031.png

Nidoqueen @ Lum Berry
Evs: 200 Attack/ 150 Defense/ 75 HP
Ability: Poison Point
Nature: Adamant
Poison Jab
Earthquake
Protect
Roar

I am hoping this one will be really strong offensively. If the going gets tough though I have Roar plus the Defense EVs will help.

Spr_4p_437.png

Bronzong @ Macho Brace
Evs: 252 HP/ 90 Attack/ 80 Defense
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Sassy
Gyro Ball
Hypnosis
Explosion
Reflect
Bulky and it also packs a punch with Gyro Ball. When things are looking down though I can just explode.

Spr_4d_018.png

Pidgeot @ Choice Band
Evs: 5 HP/ 252 Attack/ 252 Speed
Ability: Tangled Feet
Nature: Adamant
Return
Quick Attack
Brave Bird
U-Turn

I have always liked Pidgeot. I think this makes for one pesky bird.

Spr_4d_338.png

Solrock @ Leftovers
Evs: 252 HP/ 80 Attack/ 175 Defense
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Impish
Will-O-Wisp
Stealth Rock
Rock Slide
Explosion

Solrock is my favorite Pokémon. It will always be in my team. : -)

So, I’m very, very new at this. As you can probably tell. So when you comment (if you do) please don’t use jargon. ‘Twould be much appreciated.

for your Pidgeot, you put 252 EV's in Special Attack but you don't have any special attacks. Put those EV's into Speed, which is a stat that Pidgeot needs as much of as he can get.

I'll add more in a bit once I take a better look.

Haha, oh lordy. I wrote that last night when I was really tired. I did mean Speed. I'll edit that...

Another quick thing I just noticed is that you have unused EV's on some of your team. Bronzong, Nidoqueen and Umbreon have EV's left unused. I'm assuming that you again messed up due to fatigue, but I'd check that out.

Actually due to newbness. I just guessed at the amount of EVs it was possible to have.

You get 510 with a max of 255 in each stat, but the extra three are wasted due to how stats are calculated, so you only need to put 252 in any one stat.

I'd look up good EV spreads for all your team members because I've never used any of your members on a team before except Pidgeot (whose moves and EV's look good to me)

Right off the bat I notice there aren't any special attackers.. maybe something that resists Fire?

Careful's +Special Defense -Special Attack, and Umbreon's running Dark Pulse (a special move), so you might want to change that for Pursuit or Payback.

Just a couple quick things I noticed, didn't do much of a huge rate due to waking up in the past 5 minutes.

You should replace dark pulse on umbreon with protect to get a free heal from wish. Trust me toxic + wish + protect = very annoying. But then you'd have to replace yawn with toxic......

I change Dark Pulse to Pursuit.
I would go with Freddie's advice but I do like Yawn.

Pidgeot is AWFUL. All of the other birds are better, personally i recommend Staraptor or Swellow.

Swellow@Flame Orb
Guts
252 Attack / 252 Speed
Quick Attack
Brave bird
U-Turn
Pursuit

Works Everytime. its also a great lead.

Oh? I just personally like Pidgeot a lot. Swellow was always sorta meh to me. Any way this could work with a Porygon-Z or Steelix or Gardevoir could work instead?

i'm affraid in competitve battling you cant just have your favourate pokemon, you have to sacrifice some personal choice to make a great team. in this situation, you really cant have pidgeot sorry :/

i cant do a proper rate but

no to pigeot, put in a special sweeper, a starmie or gengar would work wonders here

if your insistant on a bird, try an altaria? one of the most powerful birds :)

oh and white clay on bronzong :) macho brace isnt really that useful:/

Gardevoir'd be good, since you have a lot of things neutral/weak to Fighting... give it something like

Gardevoir @ Leftovers
Nature: Timid
EVs: 56 HP, 252 SpAtk, 200 Spd
:: Will-O-Wisp / Thunder Wave
:: Psychic
:: Thunderbolt
:: Grass Knot

Saying Thunderbolt/Grass Knot here's mainly because I feel like your team doesn't have very many elemental attacks... that's just me, though. :|

nice idea with gardevour tina, but if its going to be a counter for fighting types maybe a more defensive ev spead?

252 HP / 48 SpA / 176 SpD / 32 Spe

and how about wish over psychic? or do you think one wishing team member is enough?

I like it! Thanks everyone.

You have to be careful with Garde not trying to run her (and him ... i suppose) like Alakazam or Azelf. Both out speed her(/him) and do more damage.

Gardevoir is better used with this sort of Moveset.

Gardevoir @ Light Clay
Nature: Calm
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 HP / 120 SpD / 136 Spe
:: Will-o-wisp
:: Reflect
:: Light Screen
:: Psychic/T-Bolt/Grass Knot/Shadow Ball

A pretty easy to use moveset. Switch in on a Spec attacker Garde resists and force them to switch. Burn the incoming (Most likely Phsys) attacker. Set up reflect first as Phys Def is Garde's weaker stat. Then light screen and switch. The move is dependant on what type you have having problems with.

or

Gardevoir @ Leftovers/Wide Lens
Nature: Modest
Ability: Trace
EVs: 252 HP / 48 SpA / 176 SpD / 32 Spe
~ Hypnosis
~ Will-O-Wisp / Thunder Wave
~ Psychic
~ Thunderbolt / Focus Blast / Shadow Ball

Similar tactic but you are aiming to ruin a third of the opponents team in two turns.
