My latest drawing of Aquatre (the bird)

I think I'm finally beginning to get the hang of drawing this bird...after 2-3 years of doing so ^^; Ah well, better late than never. I guess I gotta hand it to the recent evolutions my style has been going through. As far as Aquatre is concerned, with this drawing she finally looks like the majestic Water type I originally created her to be. And I finally got those stupid wings down pat! xD I may color this later on; I'm undecided on that right now. Most of my drawings remain b/w anyway, a good 90% or so. If I do color it, I'll probably wind up posting it here.

For some reason, I love the look of her neck. The feathers there look fuzzy and flowing all at once ^^ But I adore this pic overall, really. In case you're interested in what I said about this pic elsewhere, I've provided a link to the picture's page over at DeviantArt and, of course, there's also a link to my main DA page in my sig. ....Last time I checked, anyway o.o One final note: After scanning, that was about the best I could make it look ^-^; I gotta get a scanner that doesn't eat pencil one of these days...

Hmm... that's pretty good I like it ^_^ Especially the sprite in your avie, how did you do that? I'd love to do that with some of my Pokémon

Thanks ^^ My avie? Well, since Aquatre and Moltres are similar in looks, I saved a Moltres sprite from Pojo's Pokédex, and recolored some of it, redrawing other parts. I may do another, just to fix the look of the legs though..

Uho, how neat. <3 I love those little... antennae that make up her crest. *plays with them D:* And the wings look more... feather-y than the picture I remember seeing, too~

Something about the positioning of the wings is throwing me off, though. Like, she's turning to face the viewer (45°-ish), but her wings look better suited for a profile shot (0°-ish). Or something. ^^;a Maybe it's just me...

So, what're the chances of this still getting coloured, hm~? :3;

I suck at drawing my own stuff, otherwise you'd be seeing pics of the "3 Sacred Cats" on display here (those are 3 evolutions of Persian that I came up with; can be done via evolution stone on a level 37 Persian and only during the day; known as "Catamount - the Flame Cat", "Aguarundi - the Waverider Cat", and "Boltanthra - the Storm Cat"). Not to mention all the other awesome ones I've come up with (like a Fighting/Flying type called "Soarrier", a Dragon/Fighting type called "Pummelon", or a legendary Psychic/Flying type called "Phezeal").

Hehe, I love those little things too ^^ (always described as like "little strands of hair that'd caught the morning dew" whenever I RP her) And those wings should look more feathery, as I made them such, improving them (I think) over past drawings of Aquatre *nod*

Speaking of the wings, I know I had a little problem with them ^^; Birds are NOT my specialty, by a long shot. Granted, I'm better at them than I was, but I could still stand for some improvement, includings wings. And legs...and beaks... But no, it's not just you

Colored? The chances are pretty good, actually. I've been coloring in a lot of my pictures lately, and this one is included in the bunch I want to get done.

(Yep, that's me! *grins* Though, I haven't drawn anything there in a few days ^^; No, of course I don't mind a Devwatch ^-^)

Thanks! Like I said in the original post, I really like this pic, and apparently others do too ^^ (Thanks about the avatar, by the way ^^ It took me a bit, and since I don't think I'll be changing it anytime soon--I've been using it since I signed up here --I'm glad it's liked too ^^)

*blinks twice* Wow, those Persian evolutions sound cool! And I love their names! *blushes a bit* The best names I ever came up with for a Pokémon were for some pre-evo's I created a few months ago (and actually posted a pic of here), which had names like Vinei and Pe-trock ^^; But yours sound rockin', even the others you listed. Too bad it sounds like you won't post pics of 'em, I'd really love to see 'em! ^^

I really could try to draw any of my creations, but the only issue I'd have would be the fact that I have no means to scan them onto my computer.

Think those are cool? Got loads more nifty ones, like a Water/Flying type known as "Sniperon", or an Electric/Normal type called "Stormallion" (Lightning Unicorn).
