Twilight Sparkle looked through the book in front of her, then to the tiny apple tree sappling that Applejack had provided her, checking the reading again. "Ok, let's try this..." she said, concentraiting, her horn lighting up as well as the tree. She concentraited a little more, causing the tree to begin to change shape...before the spell messed up and somehow lit the tree on fire. The young unicorn let out a scream and ran, getting a bucket of water and dumping it on the flaming tree.
"How did that even happen?" asked Twilight, bewildered. "It was just a topiary spell..." she stated, looking at the charred tree in complete confusion. "Rarity makes it look so easy..." she muttered...before the tree burst into flames AGAIN somehow. Twilight let out another scream. "Spike! Water! Quick!" she yelled.

Scootaloo sighed, looking at the little dress that Rarity was constructing around her, then to Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom, who were in the exact same predictament. "Why are we doing this again? We already tried getting our Cutie MArks this way!"
"It's a favor to Rarity is all," replied Apple Bloom. "Plus, we owe her for all that fabric we made off with for the talent show..." she explained, feeling a bit guilty about that still. After all, it wasn't exactly the most upstanding thing to do.
Rarity stitched a little on Scootaloo's dress. "I really do appreciate this, and I'm sorry to ask it of you," she explained. "But I got a big order for young filly dresses and I lack a proper modeling dummy for that size. Opal was the closest thing I had and last time I tried to use her for a model, I needed Fluttershy to coax her off my back..." she stated, cringing at the memory, though she knew Sweetie Belle loved to help her work anyway, and this was something she could help with without risking destroying half the shop.

Fluttershy looked down at a group of rabbits that had, once again, been causing Applejack grief by running off with apples from the farm. "Now you put those back right now, young men," she castized in her motherly tone. The rabbits refused at first. "Don't make me use the stare," she warned, causing them to reconsider and return the apples to Applejack. "Now say you're sorry," Fluttershy said, keeping her eyes on them until they gave a halfhearted apology.
Fluttershy then looked up at Applejack. "I'm really sorry, Applejack. If I'd know they'd been causing you so much trouble, I'd have kept a better eye on them," said the shy little Pegasus softly.

Luna waited in the royal palace's room for the two princesses for her older sister. They normally did their best to keep the mornings and evenings free so they could spend time together, since Celestia ruled during the day and Luna the night, they were normally asleep most of the time the other was awake. After the sun and moon had been properly switched, they spent some time together before one had to go to sleep and the other to go about their royal duties.
Luna yawned and began fiddling around with a stuffed animal, still being relatively young in mind and body despite being over a 1000 years old. Nightmare Moon had been largely dominate during that time, pretty much leaving Luna as mature as she had been a milliania ago. Still, being a little childish didn't mean she wasn't intelligent enough to do her royal duties and had about as much to do every night as her sister during the day.
