I'm going to get this out of the way, yes, I am a fan of this show. I respect those that aren't so please respect me and whomever joins this RP with me. Anyway, onto the sign up!

Plot: Twilight Sparkle and her friends have had their ups and downs over their time of knowing each other, but after all they’ve been through, they’re pretty certain that nothing can stand in their way if they work together…or so they thought.

On the eve of the annual Equinox, and time in which day and night are both balanced, a new foe appears from the shadows. Calling himself Ruin, this mysterious enemy attacks the royal palace, targeting the two Princesses who rule the land. Celestia sends an urgent message to Twilight and her friends to rush to the palace at once, knowing if she and her sister fail, they’ll be the only thing that can stop Ruin.

But Ruin is a force unlike any our heroines have encountered, and even their friendship may not be able to stand against Ruin’s power of hatred. Cunning and powerful, Ruin scatters them across the land to buy himself time to complete his diabolical plan before the final climatic battle will take place. Can they find their way back to each other in time to stop this embodiment of hatred before the Equinox come and he’ll be able steal the powers of Celestia and Luna to conquer the world?

OC:

Ruin: An ancient shapeshiting being composed of hatred. His winged unicorn for is merely his preferred one, and he’s capable of turning into nearly anything to psychologically torment his enemies. He possesses a power array of evil powers and unlike any foe the group has faced in the past, he’s pure evil and will stop at absolutely nothing to succeed in his goals. His default form is this (thanks to SierraEx for the artwork!).

This is going to be a LITTLE darker than the series itself, but it should still be fun. Once I have a partner, we'll divide up the characters and we can start.

Well you see, this is a privite RP, meaning it's just the two of us and w'ell have to split all the characters some how. I'm fine with you joining, but are you ok with that many characters?
 
I'm fine if I get Rainbow Dash.
 
Alright, and I'm fine if I get Fluttershy, so I think we'll be good.

The only character I don't want to be is Applejack, mind being her? Then we'll just take turns picking the rest?
 
Applejack is actually one of my favorite characters. So I'd love to be her. I don't want to be Twilight Sparkle or Rarity, though.
 
That's perfect, actually. I really wanted to be them too! Alright...of the mane six, that leaves Pinkie Pie, you ok with being her? I can if you want me too, but that way we'd be even.

And the reason I didn't want to be Applejack isn't cause I don't like her, it's just I'd have trouble with her manner of speech.
 
Aiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii'd LUUUUUUUUUVVVVVV to be PINKIE PIE!!! But not Spike... Too... I dunno, just dislike him.

Alright, what about the Cutie Mark Crusaders? They actually play a kind of important role in the plot and we need them. I was thinking we reverse them, I be Scootaloo and Apple Bloom because you're Rainbow Dash and Applejack and you be Sweetie Belle because I'm Rarity, but it's up to you, that's just one way to divide them.
 
I'm fine with being Rarity's slow sister. But Since you are getting two of the three CMC, and Spike, that leaves me with a total of four against your total of six... Unless you really don't want to be Spike and hand his role to me.
 
If you'd be willing to take him. It'd make Twilight's scenes a bit easier, since I wouldn't be them both. But your choice.

We need to each take one of the Princesses though. Luna is pretty much a blank slate to do whatever we want with at the moment.

How about this: Since you are Twilight Sparkle, and she writes to Princess Celestia about lessons she learned about Friendship, I should take the role as Princess Molestia.
 
Ahh, ok, you can be Celestia and I'll be Luna. The Molestia joke was a little too creepy for my tastes though, just saying...

Yeah, that works. I'm fine with this. Oh! Gilda and Trixie! Who should be which? They're sort of brainwashed in that they're being controled through their own hatred, they're not willingly working for Ruin.

Also, a MAJOR plot point is that Celestia and Luna set the day and night cycle to their own power in compairson to each other. When the days are longer, Celestia is stronger, when the nights are longer, Luna is stronger. On the equinox, they're equal. That's important to Ruin's plan.
 
I'll take Gilda. She can offend Fluttershy and get Pinkie pie angry.
 
Yeah, true. I'll be Trixie. Physically, they both got dark circles around their eyes and red irises while under Ruin's power.

Also, important, Rainbow Dash DOESN'T know what happened with Gilda except what happened at the party, she doesn't know she bullied Fluttershy until she cried.

Alright, we ready to start?
 
We have to post on that Private RPG Thread before we begin our Little Madness...
 
I'll go post, just so you know I tend to write detailed posts.
