My Mom Keeps Disabling My Internet--HELP!

For a few months, when my laptop has not been taken away, my mom keeps disabling the internet's connection on my computer only. I would really like some advice on how to stop her from being able to do so. I don't know how she's doing it, but what I do know is:
>She controls it through her computer. She doesn't touch mine.
>I can connect to my connection all the time, but whne she "disables" it, I can't do anything (Mozilla, MSN, etc.)

I really want this bitch to go to hell. So please help me. It's getting really fucking annoying. Any help is welcome.


Edit: If you're gonna post, don't try to give me a life lesson. You don't know about the relationship between my mom and me. I will ignore these type of posts from now on.

this might be useless advice but does your internet have a wep key? if you set one up and dont tell her what it is, you can go online but she cant MWHAHAHAHA

I should also add, that it doesn't seem so simple to do. Sometimes it takes her up to 4 times to get it to work.

Assuming you've got wireless, she's blocking your MAC address, which is built in to the firmware of the wireless adapter. I've changed a MAC address before with a small piece of code, but seriously, don't even try changing it unless you're really good with computers.

Are you doing anything that might make her want to disable Internet? Or does she just go and disable the Internet for no particular reason? I'm assuming you've already talked to her about it, but if you haven't, you don't have anything to lose.

I had this trouble with my parents. . .then i moved in with my bf who has CABLE net Mwahahahaha. . . anywhoo, they set it up so the network cable went from their pc to mine. . . not through the router, so i could only use the net when their pc was on. Mind you, we only had 400mb of downloads a month :XD: and they never did trust me. You really need to speak to your mum. . . and dont go "Give me internet you whore" be NICE about it. . . act responsible and mature about the situation and she might be nicer about it . . . BUT, IF she is doing this because she can and because she feels like being a complete cow, then, go onto as many beastiality sites as you can and fill her pc up with as much smut as possible. . . make her rue the day she decided not to give you net.

I've talked to her both ways. I usually do it responsibly, but then she doesn't listen to my reasons, or makes a comeback that makes no sense, and then I switch to the other approach XD.

Personally I would go to the command area and instead of making it reboot, make it loop into constantly opening the smut that she fears you go on. Two girls, One cup maybe? xD

Joking (up to debate) aside, I would probably just show her what sites you actually go on so that she knows your not going on anything morally questionable. Even better show the history as you can delete anything you want off of it and maybe throw in some educational sites for good measure.

If none of that works, get a non-internet hobby. I suggest learning a musical instrument, skateboarding, hackey sack, or kendo. Or all of them, or something that you've always wanted to do.

If you must go on the internet, then I don't know how your mom would feel about letting you help pay for it. If you throw in for the bill every month then she has no real right to take it away from you. Otherwise, you could make friends with your neighbors and help them pay for faster internet.

But seriously, getting good at something is awesome, because you get to impress people.
