Who here watches Arrow and/or The Flash?

I only recently started Arrow and I LOVE it. Im maybe halfway through season 2? Im at least past the Barry Allen episodes. Once Im done with season 2 I definitely want to start The Flash.

They're both a lot of fun to watch. Do you have a shipping preference, by any chance?

I watch both The Flash and Arrow. In terms of quality, season 1 of the Flash was super enjoyable and entertaining, I love that the show doesn't take itself seriously. As for Arrow...I enjoy the show but I found the first two seasons to be much better. I hear that the fourth season will be lighter in tone and I'm REALLY looking forward to that.

As for shipping, in The Flash I've shipped Barry and Caitlin even though I know it will never happen. I just found their little night out and karaoke stuff really, really entertaining. In Arrow, I s,hipped Felicity and Oliver however I feel like the third season had far too much Felicity crying and love drama. I feel like I liked the ship better before they actually got together.

Love em both, especially The Flash. Reverse Flash is easily my favorite villain in the shared universe, he just looks so damn menacing. Arrow season 3 was not their best attempt at continuing Oliver's story. Ras wasn't as cool or terrifying as Reverse Flash which is probably one of the big reasons I found season 3 a bit underwhelming. On the plus side Legends of Tommorow is gonna be awesome and here's hoping Supergirl will join in on the fun soon.

I can't say I agree with your criticism about the "crying". With all the traumatic things that happened to her, pretty much anyone would get as upset as she did. But other than that, your shipping choices match mine. XD I love Barry and Caitlin's friendship. I love how there were never any secrets between them, unlike with Barry and Iris, and how they can comfortably and easily confide in each other.

Chemistry plays a large part when it comes to shipping, and in my opinion, Barry and Iris just have no chemistry whatsoever. If the showrunners want to make me ship Barry/Iris they better start working on giving them some nice interactions.

What many people on tumblr refuse to understand is that for most people who ship Barry/Caitlin, race has nothing to do with it. Those activists refuse to believe that race literally doesn't matter to some people. Like you said, we just like their chemistry better.

Saw the season 2 trailer for The Flash. Looks like one of the big villains is going to be Zoom. If it's the guy I think it is then Barry's troubles are just beginning. On the plus side it starts in October which is a lot earlier than I was expecting.
