Okay, I was just randomly thinking about the machanics of Pokémon breeding while resting in my bedroom...and, then, somehow, came up with some kind of pokéball theory of my own afterawile (after swapping from breeding to the wateryness inside of water type pokemon...lol).
Well, it all started when I was thinking about how Water Type Pokémon shouldn't be outside their POKEBALLS much if there isn't any water around. Which, led me to think...
Maybe Pokémon HIBERNATE. Afterall, when you rest, yes, your body hold's on to body fat and stuff (soo you don't need to eat/drink at those times, thus explaining the survival of the water type pokemon). But, you see, the Pokémon may be kept inside these little balls for DAYS or even WEEKS and not try to get out at all, prehaps, sometimes, even YEARS, and, when you send them out, their in PERFECT HEALTH and EVERYTHING...as if they were FROZEN or something.
There's a scientific theory, and, many of you may recall seeing this in action in many cartoons, such as Spongebob Squarepants and Scooby Doo, too, that if you freeze a body a certurn way, you can preserve it for YEARS (in some ways, this is already proven, by animals that hibernate over the winter, while it's COLD...for as long as a good few MONTHS). However, it will also be un-responcive COMPLETELY the whole time it's frozen, leading to the next part...
When one is PARALIZED, they may be incapable of moving but may still be responcive to the world around them, and, there's a way in which one can get free and still...attack.
Normally, paralisis can be quite PAINFULL...but, what if, like freezing, it can be RELAXING, if done a certurn way?
Soo my theory is:
Inside the Pokéball, is FILLED with ELECTRICITY...that also feel's cold. At the same time, though, it is very cozy. When the Pokémon goes inside the pokéball, the cozy 'coolness' of the electricity makes them drowzy, and, they then go into a mild hibernetic and perserved state, and will not wake up to random noises around their surrondings. The ONLY time the monster will come out (usually, though there may be stubern/energetic ones like Psyduck, Skitty, or, Wobbufet that surpass this rule), is if their master call's out their name or throw's the Pokéball. The Pokémon will then feel a mild 'zap' twards it's ear and it will respond if it's trainer want's it to come out, thus, taking this as it's cue to break free from it's pokeball. Note that the Pokémon does NOT get hurt AT ALL in the process, and, if anything, probably feel's a bit stronger after breaking free from the Pokéball when the given moment come's. Maybe, some Pokémon may refuse to come out if they really dislike the trainer, but it's hard to say really.
And, thus, this is what my theory is on the Pokéball. I may have more, too...Does anyone, maybe, have a theory about how the Pokémon SHRINK DOWN to fit in the Poké/Monster ball, too?
