Hi, here are a couple of pictures of some of my plushies :)

DSCF2934.jpg

My Applause Abra and Eevee. I got these two in 2000. I don't have the Pokeballs that they came in and I cut Abra's label off :O I have a thing about hating labels, lol xD

My Banpresto Yamask. I cut off the string off his head because my cat likes him and I didn't want to risk him chewing the string xD

I also have this tiny Alakazam :) I can't remember how I got him, I think I swapped him with a friend in about 2001. He used to have a chain in his head but (as you can guess) I took it out xD

Does anybody know anything about this Alakazam? I've been looking all over the internet and I can't find him anywhere :O

Hehehe, thanks, he is cute isn't he :3 I bought him off Amazon UK, from a seller called Pokemon galore. The Yamask in the seller's picture has a mouth but mine didn't when he arrived but I kind of like him more that way :p

Did it come with any tags besides the string attached to his head?

Yeps, he has a label on the back of his head with Banpresto on the one side and Nintendo Pokemon on the other. He had a plastic tag attached to the label but I cut it off. I kept it because it has lots of writing in another language on it. (I'm not sure what, it's all symbols). The plastic tag also says Banpresto and Best Wishes and on the back is a big ST.

I hope he isn't a knock off, he wasn't cheap and I'd feel rotten if I'd bought a knock of by accident :O

All Banpresto tags are in Japanese.

Did the tag look similar to the one on this Munna? Sorry I couldn't find a better photo of the tags, and I'm too lazy to go take a photo of my own atm. If so, then you're fine, that's what Banpresto tags look like. I don't think this is a bootleg at all by the looks of it, just found it odd that it didn't have a mouth. Never heard of that kind of mistake before ^^; But what you are describing sounds like a legit Banpresto tag, yes.

The MPC doesn't have a mouth, but this looks more like the plush than the MPC.

Yeah, his tag was exactly the same as the Munna tag. That's cool that he's a real Banpresto :) My Yamask looks a bit like the MPC one, except his mask looks different, kind of more roundish.

A new piccie :) I went to visit my friend in Brighton and I took my Yamask with me. Here is proof that is doesn't always rain in Britain xD

Wow, i'm jelly of your plushie collection. It is very beautiful and unique! :)

Beautiful picture with Yamask on the beach there! Admittedly, Yamask usually gives me the heebie-jeebies, but up there it looks rather serene.

The fur on the Eevee looks pretty good for a 12 year old plushie! I don't blame you with the tags. I usually cut them off, too, though often times I keep the dangling tags in a little box just so I still have them. Not that I've ever needed them for anything, but that way I still have the tags and they're not getting crumpled from being on the plushie. Have you ever done that, or am I just weird?

Hehe, thanks, glad you like my piccie of Yamask :) I like to think of mine being happy and chilled out, not crying all the time. I don't think anybody could feel sad on that beach though, it is such a beautiful part of England :3

Nah, you're not weird, I kept the tag off Yamask too :) I kept it cos I guess it makes it feel more authentic; I know it's a real one, even though the tag isn't on it. I'm glad my Eevee's fur has stayed nice and not gone scruffy looking :) Most of my plushies are quite old and look like they fell through a hedge ;)

Your collection is too cute! I actually have that same Yamask. It's officially called a Banpresto "Korotto Manmaru" plush, which I guess is to emphasize the plush set's "roundness".

Thanks guys :D H.M, that is great that you have the same Yamask cos I didn't know what kind he was and I couldn't find one exactly like him online anywhere. It is nice to know what he is at last :3 I love the name too...I have looked at some other Pokemon plushies in the same set and they do look round and chubby :)

its all of my brother's want haha :p
nice collection, that Yamask is awesome

Thank you :D I think my Abra was quite rare when I bought him D: There was only one left in the shop. Sometimes I have seen them on eBay :) I was surprised to find out that he was the only ever Abra plush made
