Okay, first of all, this team doesn't exist yet, I've just been using it on Shoddy, so any EVs can be changed. The IVs are all 31 (except for Ampharos, who uses Hidden Power) because this is just on Shoddy right now, and I'll just use the best thing I can breed when I make this a real team. I'm mostly using this in UU, but most of the Pokémon are NU. I know most of these sets are on Smogon, so I want to really change it up to make it less predictable.

Ampharos @ Damp Rock
Modest / Static
EVs 252 HP / 76 SAt / 180 SDf
Hidden Power (Water) / Light Screen / Rain Dance / Thunder

My lead, Ampharos sets up Rain Dance and a Light Screen, then gets outta there. It comes back to take out light Water-types, or when I''m running low on Pokémon.

Ludicolo @ Life Orb
Modest / Swift Swim
60 HP / 196 Spd / 252 SAt
Grass Knot / Ice Beam / Rain Dance / Surf

Ludicolo's usually my second Pokémon out, and acts as my sweeper in the rain. Grass Knot takes out heavier Water-types, Ice Beam is for Grass-types that could wreak havoc on the rest of my team. Surf is my all-purpose killer when STAB'd and Rain Dance'd up.

Spr_b_g4_195_m.png

Quagsire @ Leftovers
Impish / Water Absorb
252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Aqua Tail / Earthquake / Recover / Stone Edge

My Defensive wall. Not much else to say.

Spr_b_g4_279.png

Pelipper @ Leftovers
Bold / Keen Eye
236 HP / 160 Def / 114 SAt
Air Slash / Roost / Surf / Toxic

I don't know what to do with Pelipper. Any suggestions welcome.

Spr_b_g4_186_f_s.png

Politoed @ Leftovers
Sassy / Damp
240 HP / 128 Def / 140 SDf
Bounce / Hypnosis / Perish Song / Surf

Sets up Perish Song and gets outta there. A last resort, otherwise.

Spr_b_g4_131.png

Lapras @ Leftovers
Modest / Water Absorb
192 HP / 112 Def / 44 SAt / 160 SDf
Ice Beam / Rest / Sleep Talk / Thunder

Resting Snorlax wannabe.

moves might help on lapras, you need more swift swim sweepers. Really, you do. Try kabutops, its the best one not named kingdra. Mantine outclasses peliper, and has swiftswim or water absorb, though I'd go with the first, since no one would use a water attack against your team. You need another RD set up. Try leading with electrode and moving ampharos back. Rain dance is meant to be heqaavy offense, if you want a wall, try dewgong, with hydration, it can sleep and get up in 1 turn.

You say you have been testing this out, right. Tell me, what have you been losing to usually? This would help alot so we know what you should add.

Ampharos is a little slow for a RD lead, you might want something either faster or bulkier, such as Uxie or Ambipom, or both at some other position. Uxie can also set up rocks, and it gets heal bell, as status is normally a problem for RD teams.

Good Ludicolo.

Again, Uxie would be better for a wall position than Quagsire. You don't need all water types to make a good RD team, but if you really want to, then I think Blastoise would do a better job, or Suicune.

You should really replace Peilliper with a sweeping Kingdra, physical or special, either works. If physical, run dragon dance plus 3 attacks.

I think Politoed would be the one to replace for sure with another RDer. I really prefer Drifblim, as it can take a lot of hits and has access to Weather Ball, but that's just my opinion. Again, if you want water, go for Mantine, as it can pack a punch in the rain with swift swim.

And I can't judge a Lapras without moves.

He said its uu, there is no kingdra, and kabutops is the best RD sweeper in UU. Also, I like articuno with rain dance since it gets heal bell too, which is nicew support. Not sure about drifblim, as all it can do is set up. The only probalem with articuno is SR, which is solved if you have an electrode lead.

Neither can I with the lapras.

Personally, I agree with the Uxie statement, but with Azelf.

For pelipper, it could spam fly and annoy the hell out of a shadow forcing giratina.

umm, giritina is Uber, fly is worthless competitivly so the opponent can switch to resisit, and azelf is banned in UU cuz its OU

Sorry. Missed the UU part. And besides, how can azelf be OU but uxie UU? They're in the same group!

Groups don't matter. Uxie is UU because... well, I don't really know. Probably outclassed by Blissey or something. But Azelf is OU because it can be either a deadly sweeper/revenge killer (115 Speed, 125 Attack and Sp. Attack, and Nasty Plot), or a reliable Stealth Rock lead (again, 115 Speed, and the ability to set up the Rocks).

Uxie isn't outclassed by Blissey, but it is outclassed statwise by Cresselia. Notice that Cress didn't stay in UU. I believe it was too hard to break down with the less powerful UU sweepers. Uxie is quite bulky, but not too bulky that you can't kill it in UU play. Azelf is way too powerful to be in UU play, I don't see why that should even be explained, haha.

Uxie could be a good choice for this team, you can even make it pretty fast if you want that going for you (Base 95 speed). It's great for doing Screens as well to allow your Sweepers to take some hits and keep going. It can also T-Wave, phaze with Yawn and Stealth Rock.

Once you get past Ludicolo this team starts to fall apart, I would start over again keeping Ampharos (probably won't lead) and Ludicolo.

Thank you, Troggy, for giving us all a detailed background on Uxie's UU-ness.

lol, I could give a lot more detail than that >.>

I do like Uxie a lot actually. Wish I had a better one so I could use it on my team D:

Sorry about Lapras, I put the moves up now, don't know how I missed 'em. I replace Pelipper with a Mantine as suggested:
@ Damp Rock
Modest / Swift Swim
100 HP / 252 SAt / 156 Spd
Hydro Pump / Ice Beam / Rain Dance / Toxic

I don't know who to take out for the Uxie, but it's gonna be:
@ Leftovers
Impish / Levitate
200 HP / 200 Def / 108 Spd
Stealth Rock / U-Turn / Yawn / Zen Headbutt

For Uxie max out the HP before you invest in the defenses. Instead of what you have use 252 HP / 148 Def / 108 Speed. Why the 108 Speed though, what does that outrun in particular?

Also on Quagsire you may consider a different move over Stone Edge since Quagsire has a good support movepool and not a great attack stat without any investment. Also use Waterfall > Aqua Tail.

I would probably drop the Politoed for the Uxie, since Politoed is probably contributing the least right now. However, you should also drop one of Lapras/Mantine/Quagsire in favor of something like Kabutops, Qwilfish, Gorebyss, etc.

Can't believe I missed Waterfall, I'll put that on Quagsire. Not sure what to put instead of Stone Edge. I don't need another Rain Dance, right?
For Uxie, I'm thinking I should probably add some more Special Defense, too. Even out Defense and Sp. Defense? And I wasn't sure about the Speed, should I go lower with that?
Dropping Lapras is probably a good idea, I'll look into what to replace it with, but it'll probably be Kabutops.

For Quagsire...

If you want another Rain Dancer, go for it. But if you want another attack, I'd go for Body Slam. Two reasons:

1. Water/Normal coverage.
2. Chance of paralysis.

It is better than Stone Edge, but Quagsire still doesn't have great attacking stats.

I'd suggest replacing Politoed with Gorebyss. It's quite a powerful special sweeper with Rain Dance in effect.

Standard EVs/Moveset (Modest Nature @ Life Orb):
36 HP / 252 SpA / 220 Spe
~ Surf
~ Ice Beam
~ Hidden Power Grass
~ Psychic

I don't know much about current UU, but some quick research tells me that Uxie doesn't normally run speed. Either way, I wouldn't go with 108 Speed. It doesn't beat anything in particular. You might potentially want 96 to beat neutral Absol or 16 to beat Jolly Cacturne. You can U-Turn away from both of these for massive damage, and they both seem like they might be switch-ins. Of course, this still relies on you winning the Sucker Punch prediction game.
