Scorch-Charizard @ Leftovers
charizard.png

Naive
Blaze
127 Attack/ 252 Speed/ 127 SpAtk/ 4 HP
~ Heat Wave
~ Air Slash
~ Fly
~ Earthquake
-----------------------
My Lead. Charizard is my Favourite pokemon and it's a reliable pokemon i've had for many Wi-Fi battles and It's always done a good job, win or loss. Many of you are thinking Charizard sucks because of Rock Types who scare it off then Stealth Rock Lock it. Problem is, I DON'T SWITCH SCORCH OUT. Scorch is designed to stay in the fight as long as possible (Explaining Earthquake, killing off Rock and Electric types, leaving water as my only weak point, but my next option covers this...)

Talon-Sceptile @ Focus Sash
sceptile.png

Adamant
Overgrow
252 HP/ 127 Atk/ 127 SpAtk/ 4 Spd
~ Leaf Blade
~ Leaf Storm
~ Dig
~ Detect
------------------------

Plays a very important role, Seeing as I normally Play double Battles, Sceptile acts as Charizard's wing Man, Just in case Earthquake doesn't cut it. Detect shield whilst Charizard Sizzles Bug and Blasts Fire types, and Sceptile takes out Water and Rock types before they can even think about trying any funny stuff. Dig is great vs Tuant leads, as it can avoid the attack and then BOOM.

Chomp-Feraligatr @ Leftovers
feraligatr.png

Naughty
Torrent
252 Spe, everything else is equally spread
~ Hydro Pump
~ Aqua Tail
~ Crunch
~ Superpower
----------------------------
The Physical Sweeper, through and Through. Superpower is backed up by Impressive defense and Lures Ice types to their Doom, mostly for helping out Garchomp. Pretty Standard for Sweepers, not sure if I should put in something to hurt Electric types though...

Aero-Aerodactyl @ Life orb
aerodactyl.png

Naive
Pressure
64 Defense/ 252 Atk/ 192 Spe
~ Earthquake
~ Thunder Fang
~ Iron Head
~ Rock Slide.
----------------------------
A Last Resort for tough Battles. Aerodactyl is a bit of a Glass Cannon. This Baby's attack could fall pretty much anything without proper HP or Defense EVing, or a Focus Sash, and that's without the life Orb. Can Outspeed a Choice Scarfed anything with 95 Speed or Below PERIOD. I use him for Battles where I just wanna kick serious ass. Iron Head hurts Ice and Rock types, Earthquake hits Electric and Rock also, Finally Thunder Fang Takes care of Water Types like Gyarados.

Draco-Garchomp @ Yache Berry
garchomp.png

Rash
Sand Veil
252 Speed, the rest Spread Equally
~ Flamethrower
~ Draco Meteor
~ Stone Edge
~ Dragon Claw
----------------------------
My Uber, and in a way, my Special Sweeper. Flamethrower cancels out Ice type leads like Abomansnow who think they're better than me :p. Draco Meteor is in emergency use only, if they're something that poses a Threat to the team, because of it's immense Power + STAB. Stone edge and dragon claw are my Main Attacks. Not very Important, but useful in those situations.

Slash-Scyther @ Life Orb
scyther.png

Naive
Technician
252 Speed/ 252 Atk/ 4 HP
~ Aerial ace
~ Bug Bite
~ Brick break
~ Swords Dance.
-----------------------------
Technician and STAB turns Bug Bite and Aerial Ace into vicious sweeper tools. Speed and Attack Boosts this Immensely, enough to nearly fall a Scizor even. Combine this with Swords Dance and Life Orb, and You have one nasty little son of a bitch here. Brick Break Covers Rock and Ice Danger, so this dude has always been on a Slot, Rock type opponents or Not.

Re: My Team

...You DO know that because one single member of this team is Uber - namely, Garchomp - you HAVE to use this team in the Uber tier, right? Plus, we could use some items.

Secondly, why in the world does Garchomp have a Bold nature? Give it a nature that either raises speed or one of it's attacking stats. If this is for doubles, I can't really say much more, as I don't have a lot of experience with doubles, but that's my initial impression.

Re: My Team

Well this is a very odd Uber team...maybe replace Chomp so it's not a Uber team

Re: My Team

Hm I think you're right, but I still see a lot of people play by standard rules in doubles and follow the tiers.

Well, I guess if people were using full team of Ubers then it wouldn't be so cool. But I've got no idea how a competitive double battle team strategy works. Garchomp may not even be in the Uber tier if a system were created for DB.

Re: My Team

I am under the impression that Garchomp is not considered Uber in doubles, though I don't have a source on this. The reason is that EQ hits at only 75% damage, Outrage targets a random opponent, and it can be hit twice in the one turn it would take to set up a SD (setup is hard in doubles).

Sorry, did I leave it as Bold? It's meant to be Rash. This is a template from someone elses Team thread, I wanted to save Time...

And What Items di you mean?

@ Cheesus. What do you mean by SD?

And i'm under the Impression alot of you don't get this team. It's mainly designed for Double Battles and Six on Six. Garchomp is an Uber, but that doesn't mean my Team Flops against the Likes of Metagross and Tyranitar? This Team has defeated an all Uber Team in six on six before, All of which Were hacked (They were all Shiny, and Metagross used Lock-On, Which I know it DEFINATELY can't use).

Re: My Team

BTW why not teach your areodactyl taunt/stealth rock after all it can be pretty useful and he is one of the fastest pokemon in the game so it would be tough to be able to use will-o-wisp, spore, stealth rock, etc on him before he taunts. And avoid moves like dig instead maybe dragon pulse/dragon claw for sceptile?

Re: My Team

^^Oh. Well I've never had any Problems with it. Maybe I should have Focus Sash in case though...

^I was Thinking about Tuant when I was Unearthing Old Amber in the Underground (I have Platinum). I sometimes switch it with a Skarmory, which does have Stealth Rock and Roar for Phazing. I like your Dragon moves for Sceptile, but what should I replace?

Re: My Team

I like your Dragon moves for Sceptile, but what should I replace?

You should replace dig. Because it will allow the opponent to make a switch while sceptile is underground. Or maybe detect.

Re: My Team

I see what you are getting at. What would Dragon pulse Actually bring to Sceptile's strengths though?

Re: My Team

I really don't know... Sceptile lost most of its Special movepool in the generation shift.

Re: My Team

Dragon pulse combine with sceptiles speed and reasonable SpAtk might allow him to out speed and possibly OHKO most dragons.

Re: My Team

Garchomp Kinda covers that though. The Reason I put Dig on there was to hurt Opponents whilst Dodging Killer attacks whilst Charizard or feraligatr gave coverfire.

I meant list what hold items they have (ie Focus Sash, Leftovers, etc.).

And as for Dig...well, as long as you can predict right, I've seen Dig work well in certain doubles situations. Like I said, I don't know much about double battles as a general rule, so I'm sorry I can't give you a more detailed rate.

Re: My Team

^I did list them They're next to the names.

Thats okay. Alot of people aren't quite tuned on doubles, but i'm built around them.
