Alright, so I'm working on a competitive battling team for the first time, so I'm looking for some help. Here is what I have so far:

Dragonite
Jolly Nature
Yache Berry / Life Orb
252 Atk. / 252 Speed / 6 Spec. Attack

Outrage
Dragon Dance
Fire Fang
??? (not sure what to put here)

Blissey
Calm Nature
Leftovers
252 HP / 130 Def. / 128 Spec. Def.

Softboiled
Toxic
Aromatherapy
Seismic Toss

Infernape
Mild Nature
??? (not sure on held item)
252 Speed / 130 Attack / 128 Spec. Attack

Flamethrower
Grass Knot
Mach Punch
Nasty Plot

Alakazam
Modest Nature
Twisted Spoon?
252 Speed / 252 Special Attack / 6 Def.

Psychic
Focus Blast
Calm Mind
Shadow Ball / Energy Ball

Rhyperior
Relaxed Nature
??? (not sure on held item)
252 Def. / 252 Special Defense / 6 Attack

Rock Slide / Stone Edge
Earthquake
Hammer Arm
Megahorn

Ninjask (my lead)
Jolly Nature
???
252 Speed / 252 Attack / 6 HP

Swords Dance
Baton Pass
X-Scissor
???

any help here would be appreciated.

I would recommend stone edge for the last move , also do you mean fire punch not fang.

Alakazam
Modest Nature
Twisted Spoon?
252 Speed / 252 Special Attack / 6 Def.

Psychic
Focus Blast
Calm Mind
Shadow Ball / Energy Ball
For the Item look at a Wide Lens to help out with FB. As for Shadow Ball / Energy Ball just go for what you need to cover types, or you could drop Psychic for the other one as it is genially resisted in OU.

Ninjask (my lead)
Jolly Nature
???
252 Speed / 252 Attack / 6 HP

Swords Dance
Baton Pass
X-Scissor
???
With this you could go the standard direction and use Substitute. But as its the lead protect could work. if you go for sub as a item look into berry's that increase a stat when down to 1/3 (3 subs).
Or if you want a better chance of getting a SD off have a Focus sash and use SD on your first turn, then protect to get a extra speed boost.

If I have time I'll look at the rest later. :)

Infernape
Mild Nature
??? (not sure on held item)
252 Speed / 130 Attack / 128 Spec. Attack

Flamethrower
Grass Knot
Mach Punch
Nasty Plot

Give it Close Combat instead of Mach Punch, it will do more damage and thinking BrightPowder for held item but I am not sure about the held item

Or if you want a better chance of getting a SD off have a Focus sash and use SD on your first turn, then protect to get a extra speed boost.

If you're using this strategy, a better suggestion is to use Protect, SD, Protect, BPass. Then you pass +3 speed and +2 attack instead of only +2 speed. Plus side is, with protect you don't need to invest in speed, although that's only really useful if you're running protect and substitute together. Also, you can come out to pass +1 speed as many times as you want assuming no stealth rock. Minus side is, it's very predictable and allows for setup, while substitute gives you the possibility of passing subs as well.

Replace Fire Fang/Punch on Dragonite with Earthquake, it will let you hit everything except for levitating Bronzong and Skarmory, but more importantly, you hit Heatran. As for your last slot, I recomend Roost, but if you really want to hit levitating steels, than Fire Punch would be best.

As for Infernape, it needs near to maximum special attack, and only really needs 24 EVs in physical attack to kill blissey if you use Close Combat. Give it Life Orb.

I'd go ahead and stick Substitute on Ninjask. That way, you can get 4-5 Speed Boosts (Protect first turn and then use 3 to 4 Substitutes, depending on whether or not Sandstorm/Hail is in play). Then, you can pass to any sweeper, not just physical.

I haven't looked too hard at this team, but at the moment I don't see a problem

alright here's what I have now, with all the changes:

Dragonite
Jolly Nature
Yache Berry / Life Orb
252 Atk. / 252 Speed / 6 Spec. Attack

Outrage
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Fire Punch / Roost (still deciding here)

Blissey
Calm Nature
Leftovers
252 HP / 130 Def. / 128 Spec. Def.

Softboiled
Toxic
Aromatherapy
Seismic Toss

Infernape
Mild Nature
Life Orb
228 Speed / 252 Special attack / 24 attack

Flamethrower
Grass Knot
Close Combat
Nasty Plot

Alakazam
Modest Nature
Wide Lens
252 Speed / 252 Special Attack / 6 Def.

Energy Ball
Focus Blast
Calm Mind
Shadow Ball

Rhyperior
Relaxed Nature
??? (not sure on held item)
252 Def. / 252 Special Defense / 6 Attack

Rock Slide / Stone Edge
Earthquake
Hammer Arm
Megahorn

Ninjask (my lead)
Jolly Nature
Focus Sash
252 Speed / 252 Attack / 6 HP

Swords Dance
Baton Pass
X-Scissor
Substitute

Hmmm... seeing as Salamence runs Dragonite's set better, why not use a set that Salamence can't do as well? If you still want to use Dragon Dance, maybe a set that I use might interest you?

Nature: Adamant
252 HP / 60 Atk / 196 Spe
Item: Leftovers / Lum Berry
~ Dragon Dance
~ Light Screen
~ Roost
~ Outrage / Dragon Claw

With this set, not only does it support the team with Light Screen, but Vaporeon fails to 2HKO it while Light Screen is in play. Light Screen on a switch, Dragon Dance when you need to, Roost of damage, and pound away with Outrage or Dragon Claw.

Infernape should be Hasty or Naive.

Alakazam should be Timid. Also, put Psychic back on there; it's resisted a lot in UBERS, not OU. Use Shadow Ball unless you find that you have problems with Swampert. Try using a Life Orb. If you're going for item clause, Expert Belt or Wise Glasses will do.

Relaxed isn't bad for Rhyperior, but why did you choose it over Impish? Did you have it on a Trick Room team before? It's not a problem; I was just wondering. Also, its EVs are really weird... if you're running a bulky set, try 244 HP / 184 Def / 80 SpD. Its HP stat is very high so buff it up. Since you're making it bulky, give it some support moves, like Stealth Rock. I don't see it on this team, so it might help you out. If you don't want to use Stealth Rock, there's always Roar. You can get rid of Hammer Arm for either of these.

Wow these are some really good suggestions. I'm going to switch to all of the suggested natures, because I haven't actually bred most of the team yet, so that really isn't an issue.

I might swap Salamence in, instead of Dragonite, but I like Dragonite better so I might just keep him and sacrifice the hit in performance.

I'm here to serve, gold005 :p Glad I could help.
