oh and to add, starmie has surf, psychic, ice beam, and thunderbolt.
mixed would be best, but i just need good coverage, special or physical

I don't think Stone Edge OHKOs Gyarados or Salamence after Intimidate (if that's what it's there for), so you might want to swap that out for HP Ice to hit Salamence, among other things. For Starmie, you could always try using Grass Knot to hit Swampert and Rhyperior, seeing as Surf is probably going to take out Gengar anyway (unless it has a Focus Sash in which case you're screwed no matter what you do). If you're that scared of Heracross, then you can leave Aerial Ace on Weavile; however, Ice Punch might do you better to hit things that are slower but resist Night Slash (STAB Ice Punch will do more than Brick Break). Togekiss could do well with Roost in my opinion; this team needs more bulk and you might consider it being more special wall-like. Roost and Thunder Wave over Shadow Ball and Fly would be good. Electivire is obviously fine.

As for your last member, you might want a physical wall instead of a mixed sweeper. There's Rhyperior and Tangrowth, which are two interesting picks. Swampert isn't much of a physical WALL but can be geared towards defense. It also has the advantage of being able to attack fairly well from both ends of the spectrum. You can run the standard MixPert: Earthquake/Surf/Ice Beam/Stealth Rock. Stealth Rock is always good.

Can you post some EV spreads as well?

as i said, this is my actual team in pearl, so it would be very tough to get a good hidden power, plus they are around lv 65 at the moment.
as for EVs i just use the power bracer or power lens, (both for infernape) and power anklet until they stop working.
as for weavile, i can't get ice punch for the same reason, while togekiss is my flyer.
Starmie i need psychic b/c no other poke on my team can use it

pokelover: Your set runs higher Attack EVs and lower Sp Attack and Speed EVs. The Speed actually isn't too much of a problem, seeing as it's meant to outrun +Speed 105 base Speed Pokémon and all of those are UU or BL (Except you're not outrunning Adamant Dugtrio but really the only time you see that is when it's scarfed anyway), but the Sp Attack, I'm sure, could be a big problem. Too lazy to run calcs right now (I just woke up lol), but there's a good chance that it misses out on a lot of what would be OHKOs.

Also, Thunderpunch is 4x effective against Gyarados, unlike Stone Edge's 2x.

tactician: If this is your in-game team, you really shouldn't be using it competitively in the first place. In-game teams have EV problems because you can't really EV train well early-game. If you're willing to undo all of their EVs then okay, but if you're not then you just need to breed them all over again. The way you're EV training... it's just not going to work. A lot of sets are much more complicated than just 6/252/252. You can't just slap the items on and use them "until they stop working", because Infernape needs EVs in Attack, Sp Attack, AND Speed, and you can't run 252/252/252 because a Pokémon can only have 510 EVs.

Ice Punch is an egg move on Weavile, so you can't get it until you have access to Platinum, in which there's an Ice Punch tutor.

Psychic doesn't have any useful coverage really... you hit Poison-types (Not very common) and Fighting-types super effective, which this team already does. Grass Knot hits Water, Ground, and Rock super effective, and Water and Ground types are pretty common.

Wiil, i don't really do competitive battling with this team.
i focus more on evs than ivs, as i have no clue how to figure ivs
i just need a well rounded poke with good coverage
and for specs starmie, i just wanted a good STAB move, as neutral specs STAB actually does more than a 2x effective non-stab (2.25x for specs plus stab)

...if you don't do competitive battling with this team, then why are we rating it? <_<
As for the STAB move, it depends on the base power Grass Knot gets. For most things Psychic will be more powerful, but against something where Grass Knot has full power, it will only be a 3 point difference. However, against what you'll most likely be using it against most of the time (Swampert), you're looking at 480 power with Grass Knot and only 143 power with Psychic.
