Ah fuck.

This is another low. I wouldn't be surprised if it had been another kid or teenager who had done it, or even a random adult, but a bitter mother who apparently knew her? Who wanted to know what she was saying about her kid? What the fuck? It's none of her business what this kid said about her- heck, she may not have said a thing. From the having-been-bullied standpoint, I do loathe being talked about in any way, even positive, so I'm all for the keeping your yap shut if you don't like someone for trivial things. Unless this little girl was plotting her daughter's death, and even THEN she should have reported that to someone (yes, even if she's thirteen, issues or not, because kids are going Primeapeshit for no reason, a la this child hanging herself over messages) and not play a sick little game like this.

This woman needs to be charged with something criminal. There's no excuse to toy around with a little kid's head and emotions, almost especially one who has mental issues like depression, which can have someone, particularly a child who may not have learned the skills to cope with it, go kill themselves. They're lucky she didn't try to take some people WITH her. There's no excuse. None. what. so. ever. ANY adult, ANY one with the tiniest scrap of sense and humanity in them, would just approach her parents or the girl kindly or even just help her daughter deal the hell with it.

My god. There's just no justice in the world. Just none. I can't even think of what should be done with her, but if you think through it like this- that this twisted little woman was fucking up a kid, who was essentially a time-bomb in the first place, with some dumbass "reason", that is on the level of a little kid. She's no right to be a mother. No right to be tottering around the streets. Throw her in the slammer for god's sake. Yeah, seems harsh to some people, but really. You don't toy around with anyone like this. You just freaking don't.

I've no patience with people who insist on killing themselves, being "emo", all that rot. I don't want these people who brag about it just to get attention wasting our time, our earth and our resources so if they really meant it, I'm all for them throwing themselves off a cliff. Granted, I'm all for it mostly because I know these kinds of people wouldn't do it, when all they need is a slap in the face from reality and straighten up like I did. But you can't screw around with someone who is REALLY in this kind of situation. And a child.

Oh, this lady is sick. Sick and completely and utterly stupid, immature, I know KIDS who wouldn't even dream this up, no matter how angry they get.
 
I'm sorry but I just can't take this too seriously. I heard this a few days ago, and immediately it reminded me of this (about the part where the kids girlfriend dumped him because she thought he was gay due to his myspace getting hacked). Honestly, do people really take myspace that seriously? It's pathetic!

Some how I doubt this girl was mentally stable in the first place... I mean, killing yourself over a boy you met for a few weeks that says they don't like you...
 
When you're 13, everything is a big deal, especially things like this. I imagine the girl was crushed. This is just so sad. :(

I've heard of parents with problems, but what the heck?! What's wrong with that woman? Just the idea of her plotting with her daughter to do something like this...it's disgusting and pathetic. Does she think she's a thirteen-year-old herself?

I'm not God, but I think most people will agree this lady shouldn't be raising a kid. >>; Doesn't sound stable enough to do so.
 
That's terrible. Actually, a lot of people don't like me for this, but I think MySpace is crap. I mean it leads to stuff like people killing themselves, meeting people in foreign countries because the met on MySpace etc. I guess I just don't understand the purpose of having to let the entire world know where you live, what you look like etc.

You know what though, sure if the mother who helper her kid knew this then it's pretty bad.. except that I doubt this is the case. The whole being sorry for a person because they are handicapped is BS. No handicapped person wants people to pity them, and there really isn't any reason to in the first place. Now according to the story this girl that died was harassing her other classmates in the first place, being handicapped doesn't excuse you from being a jerk. The prank of that caliber isn't that extreme! (Fake myspace account? Please, anyone with a myspace gets 20 fake friend requests a week.. I don't know if it is better or worse (due to the same conclusion) but she could have been targeted by some 40 year old man to get raped and murdered if something like this can effect her). Maybe that is a little cruel, and maybe it just goes to show that she probably was too young for a myspace (maybe myspace should limit accounts for people under 15 or 16) but that kind of prank is equivalent to prank calls of before.

I hate to always sound like I point fingers at the same person, but don't you all think that the child who committed suicide's parents should have been paying more attention? The number one warning that is given is that parents need to pay attention to young kid's Internet activities, never mind the fact that there are always many signs before suicide. That's what stinks rotten about this story, and it's easy to see the 2D side of who is good and evil in this, when in true it isn't a matter of that.

If you didn't know already, Myspace is a personals site. You're supposed to meet people there, and meet up with them in real life, because that's how personals sites work. And to do that, you are supposed to give out factual information about your location, age, name, etc. But after little twelve-year olds started to fag it up, it suddenly became a playground for them, and pedophiles. And now, crap like "don't meet up with people irl" and "don't trust everything someone says" are posted everywhere. All these precautions are common knowledge, so it's pretty much her fault for killing herself, even if she has been diagnosed with depression and ADD, both of which millions of people have.

And remember, curtains and dogs.

By telling herself that she didn't kill her, which technically is true despite the fact that she was the one that caused her suicide.

The woman who created the fake profile has not been charged with a crime. She allegedly told the St. Charles County Sheriff's Department she created Josh's profile because she wanted to gain Megan's confidence to know what Megan was saying about her own child online.

Right, because a thirteen year old girl bashing another thirteen year old girl completely justifies what the mother has done.

If I were Megan's parents, I wouldn't have destroyed the foosball table. I would have given it to that twisted woman. If she is able to accept it, then I will know that she feels nothing for what she has done.
