Anyone have any idea what this is for? I was given it in a house just West of the Unown chambers IIRC, and carried it around for ages wondering what those 0 it contained were supposed to be, before just discovering that you can fill it with stuff bought from that Castle Bazar place in the town with the 8th Gym. The items are called stuff like "Heart Seal B" and "Electric Seal C", but my attempts to translate the rest of it failed miserably, although I get the feeling there's a chance that Pokéball crafting could possibly be involved.

I want to know what this is for. I can't even remember how I got it, I think from the mother but I haven't the faintest what it's meant to be or what the numbers it's totalling are.

Well, the mother gives you Contest Related Stuff iirc.

BTW, I noticed the Mother in DP looks just like the mom in the Anime.

IF YOU PUSH IT A POKEBALL WITH MEW WILL BE UNDER IT

The stuff you decorate your Pokemon with go in there I believe. The same box appeared at the appearance appeal in super contest (which I love now by the way).

If you could transcribe some text that would be useful. As for Pokéball crafting... yes, I suppose it is possible... after all, what else could those files labeled custom_balls be for?

The heart is the dressing up box. First number is accessories, second number is backgrounds.

The blue box is called a シールぃれ, and the description reads something like ボールカプセルこ はリつけられる シールが はいった いれもの

Well, I'm not doing any massive translating here, but ボールカプセル is "ball capsule."

Well, in Gen III you could put stickers on Pokeballs by selecting them in their move index - heart, circle, square, and star I believe - which would signify different things for different people (for me I would put hearts on my main party members, circles on things I needed to breed, square for backup Pokemon etc.)

So I suspect in this generation you can collect many different stickers to put on 'em.

Without any real knowledge of DP gameplay, based on its description, that item is a box to store stickers for your Pokeballs.

Speaking of which, now I'd like to know the etymology behind "シール"...

I'm guessing it's supposed to be something like this

Now if only I could find whoever sticks them on for you.
