Mystery Shiny Pokemon: Taepodong/ MEW

Hello everyone! I have just recently discovered this pokemon that I recieved through the GTS named Taepodong. It is a shiny mew, lv. 1 and it has a relaxed nature and was recieved in some place called Seabreak Path. I have a lot of questions about this pokemon and I am sure you do too. I cannot even trade it on the GTS, but it will let me offer it. I tried offering it and it let me, but I looked on my brothers pokemon diamond version in the GTS under mew level 9 and under and I didn't find anything. I am really worried about this pokemon because I dont want it to mess up my game so I currently am not doing anything with it. I am pretty sure that other people have this exact pokemon because I searched for it and found a lot of people talking about it. If anyone has problems with this pokemon, please reply with your take on the mysterious pokemon.

P.S.: I offered a Celebi that my friend gave to me for a Mew level 9 and under and this is what I got :(.



*EDIT: Pictures of this mysterious Taepodong are in the attached file that I found on a website. It says that the nature of the pokemon is naughty, even though mine is relaxed.



**EDIT: The owner of this pokemon seems to be Japanese, so I looked on the internet about Taepodong, and I found something that says it was a Japanese missile. It was called "Taepodong-1," which is probably why this pokemon is level 1.

uhm thats a document, which highly cause it might be a virus, you better upload a picture to imageshack :S


otherwise ill keep my suspicion thats a virus
 
I scanned it before I downloaded it, and it's clean. Here he is, Taepodong.

Is that a Heal Ball he was caught in?
 
It seems...someone just nicknamed a Mew they caught through the use of AR. So?

Either that or a cherish ball. :p

Hrm. Most likely a hack. Never heard of a Level 1 Mew being given out before (but you've already leveled this guy up substantially).
 
I think the fact that it wouldn't show up on the GTS spooked him, but I've had times where I've seen a pokemon I want, I go to withdraw it and it's gone when I log back on.

EDIT: Cherish Ball? That's a new one on me, where can I get some of those? And what do they do?
 
Cherish Ball: The Poke Ball that event Pokemon are given out in. Can only be obtained at an event with a Pokemon already inside it.

Well, someone hacked this. It's obvious, especially the location, which can only be gotten to with Oak's Letter, which comes from an event that hasn't happened anywhere in the world. Besides, there are no Pokemon in Seabreak Path - there isn't any grass for them to be in.

It's a special pokeball that I think some event pokes are in. I heard that the darkrai given out a while ago were in them, but as I don't have one, I can't guarantee this. They don't do anything special, like the premier ball, and the only way to get them is by using the AR, as far as I know.

Thanks for letting me know :) . I still am not going to try to do anything with it yet until I am positive that it is not a virus

Anyways, that is a cherish ball and as stated before, it can only be received in exclusive events. Has anyone ever seen that pokemon before? I am really upset with the creator/hacker of that pokemon. Does anyone know why I can't trade it? People have traded Mews before but when I try to trade one (not just this one), it says "This pokemon cannot be traded."


P.S.: Sorry that I didn't upload the pictures. I don't know how to.

It may be that the person looking or in the trade with you does not have the National Dex, which is required to recieve pokemon outside the Sinnoh Dex.

Thanks, but I tried trading this pokemon with a Milotic and it says it can't be traded, and Milotic is in the National Dex.

Supposedly there is an AR code that is going around that temporarily tricks the system into thinking its legit. That may explain why you can't trade it but that person could.

It's hacked, why?

1: It'd only be in a cherish ball if it was in an event.
2: The heal ball didn't exist in gen 3, the only gen an instance of a wild mew was programmed in.
3: It's a SHINY MEW.
4: You can't trade it.
5: It was caught in seabreak path, where there are no wild pokemon.
