Nacli, Naclstack, and Garganacl make their Pokémon GO debuts December 2nd in the Journey to Paldea event

Trainers will be traveling to the Paldea region early next month in Pokémon GO in the Journey to Paldea event, running from Tuesday, December 2nd, at 10:00am through to Tuesday, December 9th, at 8:00pm local time. Nacli, Naclstack, and Garganacl will all make their Pokémon GO debuts as part of this event.

25 Nacli Candy will required to evolve Nacli into Naclstack, with a further 100 Nacli Candy then required to evolve Naclstack into Garganacl.

Event Bonuses and Activities
The following bonuses will be active throughout the event period:

• 2× XP for winning Raid Battles.
• 2× XP for evolving Pokémon.
• Increased chance to encounter Shiny Larvitar and Shiny Bagon.

Collection Challenge
Event-themed catch-focused Collection Challenges will be available as part of this event. Trainers completing these will receive XP, Stardust, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon.

Field Research
Field Research tasks will be available as part of this event. Trainers completing these tasks will receive encounters with event-themed Pokémon.

Paid Timed Research
Trainers will be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). Amongst other rewards, trainers completing this research will receive 3,000 Stardust, two Premium Battle Passes, and encounters with event-themed Pokémon, including Larvitar, Bagon, and Nacli.

The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before December 9th, at 8:00pm local time.

Journey to Paldea Ultra Ticket Box
A Journey to Paldea Ultra Ticket Box will be available on the Pokémon GO Web Store for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). It includes both an event ticket for access to the Paid Timed Research, plus a bonus five Ultra Balls.

All Pokémon listed below with a ⁂ next to their name can also be encountered in their Shiny variants.

Wild Encounters
The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild during this event:

Trainers should note that on December 6th and 7th, during the December Community Day 2025, the above mentioned Pokémon will not be appearing between 2:00pm to 5:00pm local time. Additionally, on December 2nd these Pokémon will only start appearing at 10:00am local time, and on December 9th these Pokémon will only appear until 8:00pm local time.
