Tonight is when Disney XD premiers the Shippuden series.

Right now, I take back everything I have said about it before.


Any thoughts?
 
Being Disney XD, was it really necessary that they replaced "pervy" (and any other words related) with "hottie" (etc.)?
 
I liked it. I was surprised they kept the opening untouched. The character's new looks weren't half bad either. The art to me looks more realistic now. 8.5/10
 
eh... I hate the fact that now it's on Disney XD, and the fact that many of the good things (like Sexy, Pervy, the fact that they said Shippuden wrong, ect.) would be out of the picture........

=O And I'm also tired of Viz having this bug up their asses about cutting out the closing songs!!! D=<<<<<<
 
They're cutting out the ending songs with a lot of Viz Media shows now, they started doing it with bleach a while back, and theyll start doing it with probably many of its other animes once they start airing.

As for Naruto on Disney XD eh I kind of saw something like this coming, and the fact they cut alot of stuff upset me, so I give it a 6/10.
 
I don't remember them calling it Sexy jutsu on Toonami either though. I swore they said something else, because I remember that much being edited. Still, it's basically the same so I'm pretty satisfied. Now they have to get Funimation's One Piece and I'll be set!
 
I choose boxsets over disney I mean god its horibal boxsets are better cost alot but would you like to keep listing to Disney G rated lines
 
It fails. A friend says so. But the Manga= Animex infinity +1, so yeah.

Actually, it's PG in terms of lines, which is better than the carp they could have doe.
 
I liked how they kept this opening. The editing was expected, but what can you do? I was surprised that Disney XD picked up Naruto Shippuden, seeing as how Deidara is a terroist for hire and loves to blow people's faces off. The ending to Naruto has always been taken out. At least this time they kept the song even if they cut out part of it. "New" episode tomorrow by the way

actually Toonami left the sexy jutsu untouched, both in terms of it's name, and the visuals, unless you count the bloody nose reactions being cut.
 
*sigh* well I'm unhappy with the sexy thing, but, for being a die-hard disney hater, it's pretty good. They kept the theme and part of the ending, and the same voice actors, and they didn't mess it up too badly.
4/10 (woulda been 5, but this is disney)

I'd still rather watch it in japanese with subtitles, though.
 
Well...since it's still the beginning, you gotta wonder how they'll ever censor out the parts with with Deidara losing his arms, and with Sasori's swords and everything.
 
I'm still wondering how they're going to dub over Sai and Naruto's first con-forn'-tation..... In both the edited and the uncut versions.

Disney have a phobia of blood it seems, I wonder how they will manage
the immortals arc, with Hidan and his blood splattering ways and the whole vials of blood thing.

Yeah i was wondering about that too.

And the 2nd opening...how are they going to censor THAT.
