What do you think about them?

Conspiracy junkies say many UFOs are actually Nazi devices. They say there's an underground base in Antarctica (New Swabia) and on the moon.

Sounds crazy, yeah?

Well that aside, the Nazis had indeed been conducting top-secret experiments and projects. This includes the infamous Nazi nuclear bomb research, the Bell (rumored to be so secret that every scientist was killed to prevent the technology from falling into American and Russian hands), cruise and ballistic missiles (V1 and V2, respectively), giant cannons (V3), aircraft years and perhaps even decades ahead of their American counterparts.

Even this sounds crazy, right?

Well yes. That's the purpose of the thread. To discuss crazy theories for fun (because most people don't believe it).

I dont know if the Nazis ever actually achieved a nuclear bomb, but they did put significant resources to it. The German submarine U-234 was actually captured on it's way to Japan, delivering Nazi Uranium and a host of other information to the Japanese after the end of the European Theater.

Die Gloke? V1 cruise missles? V2 ICBMs? V3 cannon? nuclear program? This is all wunderwaffe (wonder weapons)! I heard of there on the History channel. Did you know the StG 44 is a wunderwaffe? It was one of the very few wunderwaffes to be used in battle (alongside with the V1,2,&3 and a few others).

Indeed. I daresay that many modern weapons (assault rifles, long-rage guided missiles, space rockets, etc) were based on Nazi projects. And in fact, IIRC the AK-47 was based on the StG 44.

As for nukes, I'd hate to think what would have happened if they finished before the war did.

They'd have used it without hesitation, wiping London, Moscow, Rome, Paris, and quite a few armies as well...

The Germans were also planning on sharing this tech with the Japs, too.

Not only that, but Germany and Australia are both rich in Uranium - and the German economy in world war II was the second in the world.

That may even force the allies to surrender in the face of such devastating weapons. Neither side would hesitate, and the result may be a three-way nuclear showdown between the three newly-formed nuclear superpowers.

Germany may consist of Britain, North Africa, the former USSR, and the rest of Europe, sans the neutrals. They would also set up puppet states in the middle east, Vichy France, and other parts of Russia, gaining vast amounts of resources in the form of raw materials and petroleum.

Japan may consist of the Eastern Pacific and set up puppet states in China and Australia, benefitting from their resources.

Although Germany and Japan may eventually collapse from internal struggles, rebellion, and lack of manpower (they would be overextending their resources and soldiers). However, the use of puppet states and the eventual eventual acceptance of their rule may alleviate this for at least a few decades.

And America would still win, provided the result isn't MAD.

Bad theory, I know, but I threw it together in only 5 minutes, so sue me!
 
I always thought Hitler was insane, now I know he was completely psychotic! Seriously!
