i have defeated clair now i'm looking for a bagon because trading is the only way to aquire one on soulsilver

Instead of a Dragon-type to beat Clair, why not use an Ice-type? That way, Clair's Pokemon won't be super-effective on your Pokemon. (And there's a cave with Ice-type Pokemon in it right before Blackthorn City.
