Hello all! I need help identifying my Pokemon card. I've been out of the game for some time. I have a Scyther from Jungle. However, there is no set symbol where the little jungle symbol should be. My Poke-sense tells me this is either an extremely rare mis-print, or a Promo. If anybody knows, please let me know!

lets see if it is between now and 2005 then it is a promo if it is between 2004-1996 then it is a very rare misprint

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. The copywrite is c1995, 96, 98.

welcome, then congrats you have a misprint hmm but that seems very Rare sortoff like how Shiny pokemon are naturely atracted to meh XD but ya its a misprint would have been worth somthing 5 years ago :/

Yeah, I know. Those were the days. My little brother got a bunch of cards from his friend for free, and then my brother wanted me to sell them. The kid had a Charizard that was all smudged up and bent! Nearly broke my heart seeing such a thing :'(

Anyway, thanks a bunch for the info.

welcome oh and do you have pokemon daimond/pearl?

No, I stopped playing the game after Silver. I heard the DS versions were really cool though.

Ah, the legendary Jungle misprints. Yeah, lots of holos in the Jungle set are messed up and have no Expansion symbol. One of the more common TCG errors.

Yeah, it's a misprint. To my knowledge, it's not an especially rare misprint, but I'd hang on to it if it's in good condition.

Re: Need Help Identifying a Card: Scyther from Jungle that does not have Expansion Sy

there coming out with remakes of silver and gold btw

NO SUCH THING HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED. Anything to that is a RUMOR with NO CONFIRMATION. Now STOP spreading things like that around--same goes for everyone!

Anyway, yeah, there's a lot of Jungle cards that were printed without the symbol.
