Need help w/ Chain Breeding

I am a casual player who enjoys to fool around with silly teams, so please don’t chew me out because I have no clue what I am talking about. >_< I am trying to make a team entirely of Pichu… which in of itself it a dumb idea, but please bear with me. (I love Pichu most of all, hence this waste of time).

I am having trouble figuring out how to breed and get the correct movesets. Here are my ideas, if you guys have better movesets, then please jump in… I’m a n00b so I’m just trying my best.

Pichu 1 = Tank... of Randomness

Rest (TM) 44
Sleep Talk (Em Tutor)
Mega Kick (LG/EM Tutor)
Thunderbolt (Learned)

The problem with this one is that when I get a Pichu w/ Rest it can’t learn TB without evolving… So I need to find a male w/ Rest as well as TB and breed him to a Pika w/ TB in order to get a Pichu w/ TB and Rest? But what Poke can learn TB and Rest and breed with Pika?

I don’t even know if I have the correct pokemon… so I’m not gonna comment on the problems I have when trying to breed the movesets… I just need some solid general advice. Any constructive comments are welcome. Thank you!

Other than this being one of the weirdest teams I have ever heard of, good for you for trying something new. As for your rest, thunderbolt problem, pikachu can learn rest by tm, or Taurous learns rest at lvl 34, can learn TB by tm, and can breed with pikachu.

I am trying NOT to use TMs... I supose I could just use TMs for most of these moves but some of them are hard to get ahold of.

Thunderbolt is TM24 in Generation III, if that helps at all.

Pikachu's egg groups are Fairy and Ground, and the links list all the other Pokémon in those groups.

Thanks for the info, but I have a problem mapping out the chain in my mind. That's why I posted hoping people could tell me which pokemon (of which gender and which moves) I would need to make any of these movesets work.

If it's hard to do in your mind, why don't you draw chains on paper?

Well for example, the one I described in Moveset 1. Is it possible to do w/o TMs? *Tries his best on paper*

Try this:

1.- Jigglypuff + Rest (lv29) (male) + Pikachu --> Pichu + Rest (male)
2.- Pichu evolves into Pikachu
3.- Pikachu learns Thunderbolt (lv26)
4.- Pikachu + Rest + Thunderbolt (male) + Pikachu --> Pichu + Rest + Thunderbolt
5.- Move Tutors.

It should work, as TMs are passed to the baby Pkmn as long as it can learn it through TMs... and Pichu does.
