Ok i have recently discovered comeptitive battles and got seriously smashed in my first match. This made me think of what I was doing wrong and I have decided that I need help. I have ok pokemon and dont know why I lost.

Aerodactyl
Rock Head
Hastey
252 att/252 speed/6 HP
Life Orb
Bite, Hyper Beam, Earthquake, Fire Fang
Pretty decent for a physical sweeper in my opinion because it covers most weaknesses and can hit hard and fast.

Kangaskan (Shiny)
Early Bird
Relaxed
200 speed/100 HP
Chople Berry (Weakens foes supereffective fighting type attack)
Earthquake, Surf, Thunderbolt, Mega Punch/Hammer Arm
Again coverage all around but for some reason it went down fastest.

Typhlosion
Blaze
Lax
40 HP/40 att/128 specatt
White Herb
Lava Plume, Toxic, Heat Wave, Overheat
I know its a little narrow sighted for a special sweeper in terms of what its supereffective against and a water, ground or rock type will destroy it but I think the move set looks right (dosent mean I dont think it should change because I do).

This one is a physical sweeper and as such I know i need to get rid of Bubble Beam and maybe Blizzard.

This is my wall. It already had high def and specdef befor i started to ev train it so its pretty good. I also need to keep a physical attack on this guy because of is horrible speed and special attack.

You need to post a 6th pokemon. we are not a team builder. you have an hour to update this, otherwise i will lock it.
Typhlosion is a sucky special sweeper, and giving him all Fire Attacks is a very poor desicion. You actually can not hit Heatran with him
a more detailed rate later.

Crunch, Stealth Rock, Earthquake, Fire Fang/Rock Slide
a far better moveset. Crunch hits harder than bite, and for the same coverage. Stealth Rock to cripple the opposing team, and the other moves for coverage. fire Fang/Rock Slide are options, personally i would use Rock Slide

with scrappy, Return hits ghosts. Hammer Arm is to hit Darks and steels, Earthquake is for fire pokemon, and avalanche is for dragon/[ground/flying] pokemon. A much better Banded sweeper.

Typhlosion has an awful movepool. This is the best you can get with him.

Agility/Crab hammer/Return/[Brick Break/X-Scissor]
\o/ for HGSS moves! Agility lets him pick up that slack, and outpace many, many things. Crab Hammer for complementing his high attack, return hits like a truck, and brick break for hitting steels/rocks/darks, x scissor for darks/psychics.

I'll do the lat two in a bit.
as a whole, your team lacks synergy, and would get stomped on by various very common pokemon.
