Acero city, a large futuristic city that has been blooming in the latest years. Its population and large level of technology makes it a very popular sight for both tourists and people that live there. Neo Gears, that's the name of the artifact that was originally created in Acero City an artifact that can grant the user any weapon that he or she wishes or any object for that matter.

However the city also has something else, and this isn't something good for it.

A large explosion ran though one of the stores in the shopping district before it was closely followed by a pair of masked men flying away in a pair of floating skateboards. "You didn't have to make such a big deal out of it Luke," one of them said as he turned towards the other figured, they were both wearing white colored jackets and they had their faces covered with white bandages.

"Oh shut up Paul, we didn't kill anyone anyway," the other one laughed and looked down at his arms, it was completely black and kind of mechanic as well as having some blue lines going down it. "Plus I had to stretch myself a little," he stated and removed the bandages, revealing his short, yet messy blue hair and amber colored eyes, he had a small scar under his bottom lip as well.

"Why are you taking the bandages off people can still see!?" Paul exclaimed.

"Doesn't matter to me."

A young woman had heard the explosions coming from far off. She let a sigh escape her pale rose lips. The wind danced through her long, curly, magenta hair. She wore a green t-shirt that matched her Emerald eyes, black pants, and black/red converse sneakers that had white at the toes of the shoe. She had black sweat-bands on both of her wrists as well.

"Why can't there be some peace around here?" the girl asked herself as she kept walking down the secluded sidewalk.
 
"Anyways what do we do now?" Paul asked curiously before dodging a running passerby.

"Simple we go back to the base and check the goods," Luke shrugged. Suddenly the skateboard began waving around, making Luke struggle on top of it as he tried to stabilize. "Damn it this old thing isn't working well any..." before he could finish his sentence he was treated to the sight of a girl walking on the sidewalk, the sidewalk he was heading for. "Watch out!"
 
The girl saw the two guys, and heard one call out to her. In a split second, she yelped and dodged the man on the board. She took a tumble onto the road. Quickly, she got up and began dusting herself off.

"Today is just not really my day," she grumbled.
 
"Ah!" Luke yelled before crashing against the light post that was next to the woman. He fell forward form the skateboard and was slammed against the post, causing him to cough up once he fell to the ground. "Damn it that kinda hurt," he groaned as he tried to stand up.
 
The girl walked over to the man, and extended her hand.

"Are you all right?" she asked in a concerned tone.
 
"I'm fine," the woman smiled as she gently brought her hand back to her side, "My name is Melody, and who do I have the pleasure of meeting?"
 
"Luke Star," Luke grinned and pointed at himself as he looked down at the woman with a smile. "It's really nice to meet you."

"Dude. Sorry to interrupt here," Luke turned to his right to look at Paul; who didn't seem amused. "We gotta run." as he said this the sound of police sirens could be heard form afar.

"Oh crap you're right," Luke stated before he suddenly grabbed a hold of the woman and jumped on the board once more. "You better come with us for now I'll drop you off when we get away from them otherwise the police might think you're involved.
 
"U-um...okay," Melody answered nervously as she looked at Luke, "So, do I just hop on?"
 
"Not enough space," he shook his head before sweeping her off her feet and carrying him bridal style. He jumped on the skateboard and began to speed off along with Melody. "So, lovely day we're having."

"Damn it he just can't stop being such a romantic dumbass," Paul frowned, taking off his bandages so as to reveal his short brown hair and blue eyes before he followed after Luke.
 
Melody laughed as she looked into Luke's eyes.

"I guess," she answered, "But maybe my day would've been lovelier had I not been almost ran over." she stuck her tongue out playfully.
 
"That was Paul's fault," Luke nodded his head before smiling cheekily.

"Hey...how is it my fault?" Paul wondered, a look of annoyance showing on his face.

"I told you to fix my board like two days ago," Luke shook his head. "You know someone as awesome and mighty as me needs an awesome and fixed up board I can't have these kinds of problems," Luke shook his head at Paul; really believing that Paul was the one at fault.

As the three of them hovered through the city Luke saw a red beam shoot from around the corner of one of the buildings. The beam curved around and began to heading towards the group. 'Crap," Luke gritted his teeth and grabbed a hold of Melody before kneeling down and moving his head to the side so as to avoid the beam. Paul was able to dodge it too but he was sent flying off by the shockwave from the explosion the beam caused when it hit the street.
 
Melody let out a yelp in fear. Instinctively, she held onto Luke tightly.

"This day isn't so lovely now," she mumbled in fear.
 
"Meh this is a normal occurrence," Luke nodded his head before coming to a halt and looking at the man standing in front of them. A man with long white hair stood in front of them. He was holding a black colored gun with red lines going through it and was wearing a black jacket.

"So it seems like you still haven't learned your lesson Luke," the man groaned.

'Not quite," Luke shook his head.
 
Melody looked at the man and frowned. She really knew today wasn't her day to be outside.

"Um...who are you?" she asked.
 
"Him," Melody answered as she looked at the snow haired man.
 
"Oh that's just Ally," Luke shrugged with boredom.

"My name is Alistair not Ally!" Alistair yelled in anger while glaring at Luke. "And today I will finally catch you, now let go of that girl."

"No," Luke replied simply, causing Paul to gasp at his reaction. Luke held his right arm forward and suddenly materialized a long black and blue sword on it. "Sorry but no dice." he started speeding forward once more and slid the sword on the ground before firing a blue wave of energy at Ally, who was too busy blocking the attack with his gun to stop Melody and Luke from getting away.
 
"I don't wanna die!" Melody screeched as she gripped onto Luke tighter.
