Neon Genesis Evangelion 1.0: YOU ARE (NOT) ALONE

I saw it on the shelves at Best Buy yesterday. It was very much unexpected.

'_'

But do you have any idea how hard it was not to buy it? XD Not that I don't want to see it, but I'm trying to avoid purchases that I could just get off Netflix. And there's also the possibility of an improved Blu-ray edition, isn't there?

I really just hope it doesn't take to long for all four movies to be released. :p

I used to be a huge Eva fan back in the day. I've already seen the first rebuild movie, which was awesome, but didn't really differ that much from the old series.

I heard the second movie was in Japanese cinema this summer, and it takes a huge detour from the original plot, what with introducing a brand new Evangelion including a new pilot and everything.

I'll probably end up buying the box-set when it comes out, even though that'll probably take at least three more years.

I was just listening to the music at a site I will not disclose, and it sounds uncomprehensibly awesome.

I saw it at best buy as well, but thats wasn't what I was there for, and I had to pass it up ;-;

oh well... i'm still gonna get it x]

I love NGE. I'll have to get this sometime soon. =3 When I get the extra money that is.

I had no idea Evangelion 1.0: YOU ARE (NOT) ALONE was being released for sale outside of Japan. I am definitely going to purchase it. I have wanted to see it for a long time.

Saw it in theaters.

Going to buy it once I get my hands on the series box set first.
I reaaaally liked it.

Saw it at my college's movie theater (never thought they would show an anime movie). I liked Neon Genesis Evangelion a lot when I first watched it so watching the movie was nice (even if there wasn't that much difference from the original series). Speaking of which, the only other people watching the movie were a bunch of people from my school's anime club (which I'm not a part of).

Maybe it's because I never saw the show, but when I watched it at a convention I went to, all I thought was, 'Man, this is trippy."

it wasn't terrible. Not good, but not gauge-out-my-eyes bad.

No thanks, didn't like the series to begin with. Too much Shinji and Asuka, not enough Super Robots.

Saw it, and enjoyed it a lot.
I love seeing anime with good, solid animation and Evangelion 1.0 was wonderful eye candy.
I especially loved the pacing and the climax was really well done. I'm really excited for the other three films to come out. (although the last one probably won't be released until like 2014/15 at this rate)
