New to netbattle, never really cared for competitive battling, however it's going to be a long summer, so, I built up a team, now I need to know what improvements I can make to it.

Ninjask @ Focus Band
Hasty/Speed Boost
-Agility
-Swords Dance
-Baton Pass
-Substitute
255 Spd/255 Hp

Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Adamant/Sand Stream
-Crunch
-Earthquake
-Focus Punch
-Substitute
75 Hp/255 Atk/60 Def/120 Sp. Def

Omastar @ Leftovers
Rash/Swift Swim
-Rain Dance
-Toxic
-Surf
-Hidden Power Grass
78 Hp/216 Spd/216 Sp. Atk

Weezing @ Choice Band
Adamant/Levitate
-Haze
-Sludge Bomb
-Will-o-Wisp
-Toxic
130 Hp/198 Atk/182 Spd

Starmie @ Petaya Berry
Timid/Natural Cure
-Ice Beam
-Psychic
-Surf
-Thunderbolt
255 Spd/255 Sp. Atk

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Impish/Sturdy
-Drill Peck
-Roar
-Spikes
-Toxic
127 Hp/128 Atk/255 Sp. Def

Ninjask > Tyranitar is the obvious Baton pass, but otherwise I'm not too sure on what to do with this team. So, Constructive critisism is welcomed.

Ninjask @ Focus Band
Hasty/Speed Boost
-Agility
-Swords Dance
-Baton Pass
-Substitute
255 Spd/255 Hp

Obvious. Be careful on the reverse T-tar -> Ninjask switch (Sandstorm/1HP/Leftovers becomes useless)

Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Adamant/Sand Stream
-Crunch
-Earthquake
-Focus Punch
-Substitute
75 Hp/255 Atk/60 Def/120 Sp. Def

note that Tbolt or Ice Beam is an option over Crunch.

Omastar @ Leftovers
Rash/Swift Swim
-Rain Dance
-Toxic
-Surf
-Hidden Power Grass
78 Hp/216 Spd/216 Sp. Atk

Get something better; this leaves you with too much of a grass weakness, as venu already pwns ttar.

Weezing @ Choice Band
Adamant/Levitate
-Haze
-Sludge Bomb
-Will-o-Wisp
-Toxic
130 Hp/198 Atk/182 Spd

Standard. Bogstandard.

Starmie @ Petaya Berry
Timid/Natural Cure
-Ice Beam
-Psychic
-Surf
-Thunderbolt
255 Spd/255 Sp. Atk

Oh joy, straight up attacking.

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Impish/Sturdy
-Drill Peck
-Roar
-Spikes
-Toxic
127 Hp/128 Atk/255 Sp. Def

dump drill peck for Rest, IMO. It'll serve you better. Even without a beller.

Ninjask needs SOME mode of attack. Don't worry about its HP...it won't survive any hits from the majority of the stronger Pokemon out there. I've always found the best Ninjask to be this variation:

Ninjask @ Liechi Berry (or another stat-up Berry of your choice)
Adamant Nature
252 ATK, 252 SPD, 6 HP
- Baton Pass
- Substitute
- Silver Wind
- Aerial Ace

You can get away with some good stuff using this moveset. In the right situation, Ninjask can take out a few Pokemon with this strategy. Focus Band...isn't really such a good idea. The stat-up Berry it holds will make it even more suitable to Baton Pass to a teammate. If you give it a Liechi specifically, it can do some sweeping of its own with a 459 ATK, and Baton Pass when some trouble comes. Also, note that Ninjask does not work very well after Tyranitar has come up. You'll need to use much rouse to get Ninjask back in at a later time.

As for Tyranitar...you may want to drop Crunch for Rock Slide. After the right amount of Speed Boosts Baton Passed and a Liechi Berry to boost further...Tyranitar's gonna give a lot of Pokemon a lot of problems.

Omastar is an interesting addition to your team. I'd have to recommend Ice Beam/Blizzard over Toxic, though. Ice Beam's for the conservative in you, Blizzard's for some fun, haphazardly paced matches. The EV spread looks good enough, but perhaps you want to focus more on DEF in that situation. I'd personally recommend giving it enough SPD EVs for a 187 total, which would outspeed the likes of Dugtrio and Alakazam in Swift Swim. From there, you'd have a few points remaining to focus on HP, DEF, or SD(not particularly recommended).

My suggestion:

Omastar@ Lum Berry
Nature: Modest
EVs: 134 HP, 164 SPD, 212 SA
- Rain Dance
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Ancientpower

Ancientpower's really just filler. If you see yourself in a situation where you could do well(I.E. against a Ninjask), it could be useful to get some stat boosting in before letting off with a Swift Swim/Surf combo. The Lum Berry attached will negate Pokemon that try to confuse, paralyze, etc on turn 1. This can give you an opportunity to set up Rain Dance and sweep away. I don't use Hidden Power, and would personally advise against it as I think it cheapens the game.

Weezing is quite odd. Firstly, you don't want two status effect moves on the same Pokemon. Drop Toxic, and keep Will-O-Wisp, or the other way around. In that move's stead you have access to Shadow Ball, Rest, or Explosion, to name a few moves. The Choice Band may seem tempting for raising Sludge Bomb's power...but when you have suipport moves like Haze and Will-O-Wisp...it's no go. You'll find yourself switching out far too often, and you'll be susceptible to stat-upping Pokemon of various types.

My suggestion:

Weezing@Chesto Berry
Adamant nature
180 HP, 68 ATK, 252 DEF, 10 SPD
- Sludge Bomb
- Will-O-Wisp
- Rest
- Shadow Ball/Explosion

A modest moveset, if I do say so myself. Chesto Berry/Rest can be cheap, so you could give it something like a Brightpowder and Pain Split over the item and Rest, though Rest could stand on its own, given the chance.

Starmie's...standard. However, you should drop 3 EVs from each of the invested stats, and give it 6 in HP. That 1 HP could come in handy....

Skarmory would be another very standard Pokemon. I myself would have to recommend dropping Spikes or Toxic for Steel Wing. Some people hate to part with Spikes, but for Steel Wing, it can definitely be a good idea. Usually, Skarmory doesn't want to rely on SD at all, so I'd say consider DEF, ATK, and some SPD as alternatives.

My suggestion:

Skarmory@Leftovers
Nature: Impish
EVs: 200 HP, 200 ATK, 100 DEF, 10 SPD
- Steel Wing
- Drill Peck
- Roar
- Toxic/Spikes

I've swapped Omastar for a Salamence, with the following, I was lacking in a counter for Grass types, and Starmie's Ice beam isn't really going to do anything as more often than not Giga Drains ohko it.

Salamence @ Leftovers
Adamant/Intimidate
-Dragon Dance
-Hidden Power Flying
-Earthquake
-Rock Slide
32 HP/252 Atk/42 Def/142 Spd/42 Sp. Def

Otherwise I've took your advice and Put Rest on Skarm, and Ice Beam on T-Tar.

I'll play around with the suggestions you've given me for Skarmory/Ninjask, because looking at Aerial Ace on it has reminded me that, it often gets taken out by opposing Ninjask' in this situation. So Aerial Ace may be of some use.

Thanks for the thus far suggestions, and of course I'm really after some more.

For Salamence, I've found that this moveset works remarkably well:

Salamence@Lum Berry
EVs: 252 ATK, 252 SPD, 6 SA
Nature: Naive/Hasty
- Dragon Dance
- Aerial Ace
- Earthquake
- Flamethrower

It's really easy to predict when someone will try a status effect or switch on Salamence. With that in mind, use the Lum Berry or knowledge of switching to your advantage, and use Dragon Dance. Flamethrower's nice for the likes of Skarmory and Forretress(if you really fear them), and provides a nice mixed sweeper element. Hasty/Naive leaves Salamence with a 257 SA, enough to deal some great damage on the right opponent. If you don't want to take advantage of moves Like Flamethrower, Crunch, or Dragon Claw, and keep it physical...go with Jolly. The SPD advantage NEVER hurts, especially when facing Pokemon that would have a SPD advantage over the standard Salamence. From there you'll have options like Rock Slide(as you mentioned), Iron Tail, and Brick Break. An example for you below...

Salamence@Lum Berry
EVs: 252 ATK, 252 SPD, 6 HP
Nature: Jolly
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Aerial Ace
- Rock Slide

Much like your Salamence, with a few things changed. Anyone could go on for days about the possibilities Salamence holds, so I'll stop here.

Right I've ripped out the spine of the team up there and gone for a few changes, I'd ask for a rating but I'm guessing people are sick of Rating things Like Boah and Curselax. I've kept a few of the suggestions that've been made thus far however as they seem to work nicely.

Thanks again for the info Guys, it's appreciated.

ninjask as a starter sucks. jolly. 4 hp/252 atk/252 spd. use aerial ace/hp flying/hp bug/silver wind over agility. it gets speed boost

Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Adamant/Sand Stream
-Crunch
-Earthquake
-Focus Punch
-Substitute
75 Hp/255 Atk/60 Def/120 Sp. Def

not on the same team with jask, imo. 252 hp/190 sp atk/68 spd. subpunch, thunderbolt, crunch

Omastar @ Leftovers
Rash/Swift Swim
-Rain Dance
-Toxic
-Surf
-Hidden Power Grass
78 Hp/216 Spd/216 Sp. Atk

i suck with omastar

Weezing @ Choice Band
Adamant/Levitate
-Haze
-Sludge Bomb
-Will-o-Wisp
-Toxic
130 Hp/198 Atk/182 Spd

196 hp/252 def/8 spd/rest in atk. pain split>toxic. choice band only works on physical sweepers with all attacks, and if you are good at prediction.

Starmie @ Petaya Berry
Timid/Natural Cure
-Ice Beam
-Psychic
-Surf
-Thunderbolt
255 Spd/255 Sp. Atk

252 sp atk/enough for 352 spd/rest in hp. surf, thunderbolt, rapid spin/ice beam, recover. psychic if you are REALLY worried about gengar blocking rapid spin. just use leftovers. starmie isn't going to sweep that much. and pinch berry+sandstream+natural cure sucks. especially if you get a status condition

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Impish/Sturdy
-Drill Peck
-Roar
-Spikes
-Toxic
127 Hp/128 Atk/255 Sp. Def

196 hp/212 def/rest in atk

you have a big boltbeam weakness. you need special resistance. you have 2 physical walls. i would take out skarmory out for snorlax/blissey. i just don't like skarm that much, but that is just me.

edit: also 4 of your pokemon are weak to electric.
