Hi Folks, new guy here. I managed to resist the pokemon craze for almost 15 years and it finally got me. I was strong and now I am weak. I love the useful info in the Bulbapedia, but I was kind of disappointed to learn that I can't get a mudkip or pikachu in Diamond/Pearl without buying the earlier games and trading. Why aren't all the pokemons available in the latest edition?

I pulled away from the Pokemon craze, but eventualy, it pulled me back in. Now I sprite, write and breathe it (not really, but you get the point).

Rule number one: Pokemon, not Pokemons. It's like sheep :eek:

edit: And you can get Pikachu in DP, my Backlots garden ^-^

Err, yes, the pokemon, they are not as plurals as I thought. :)

Can you get a mudkip in Mr. Backlot's garden?

Welcome, and unfortunately, no, you can't get any starters there, however, there are traders in the forums that should be happy to give you a Mudkip.

If I ever have the time to figure out how to get online with my DS that's certainly a possibility!

Sorry to report but in my epic quest to clean out my pc boxes I apparently have deleted all remnants of the Mudkip line I once had, I apologize for leading you on, I seriously thought I still had a Swampert laying around somewhere. Actually I know I did, but I guess I let it go. Actually, the only Johto starters I have now are Typhlosion, if your interested in him let me know, otherwise my bad. x_x

BUT, I'm sure you can find a mudkip elsewere on this board, afterall, everyone loves mudkipz.
 
What's the venery name for a group of pokemon? You know, a murder of crows, a giggle of girls, etc.

Ah, I'll give him to you, you can give me whatever fodder you have lying around.

BTW, I didn't notice until now but your Typhlosion is holding a master ball, which I think is a unique item, right? Did you want it back?
