Now this is quite possibly my favorite part of my job as a section head at Bulbagarden. Not only do I get to tell new hires in private (and see the excitement that they feel), I get to announce them to the world (even though I'm sure most of you have seen this already from the global announcement post).
Now I'll stop stalling and announce the result of the staff drive.
The class of new hires is far smaller than last year, when I desperately needed help with the section. The people I added then have done a terrific job stepping up and helping me run the section.
I'm sorry, I'm stalling.
We have one new moderator this year, the wonderful @Sorrows Solace!
Now I don't want to go into too much detail about her (I'll let her do that herself), but I just wanted to say it's been wonderful speaking to her the past few days and I know she's going to make a wonderful addition to the RP staff team!
We also hired two new Game Managers, but those will remain a mystery for now (they know they have been hired). The reason for this is that there is a major project the RP Staff is working on, something that I know all of you are going to enjoy. It's far away for now, but look for updates on this project in the summer.
Again, congratulations to Sorrows Solace and to our new Game Managers (whose identity will be revealed in the upcoming weeks)! It's truly an honor to work with such talented people.
