Spoilers for the current and next arcs may follow.

The key visual for the next arc features Liko and her Mewoscarada, Hattrem, Pagogo, and Charcadet, Roy and his Crocalor, Kilowattrel, and Lucario, Captain Pikachu, Dot and her Quaxwell, Tinkaton, and Gimmighoul, Uruto and his Sableye and Dragonite, and Friede, Drayden, and Lacey

The next arc of the Pokémon animated series, known as Pocket Monsters: Rising Again (Japanese: 「ポケットモンスター ライジングアゲインPoketto Monsutā Raijingu Agein) will be debuting in Japan starting Friday, October 31st. The series, known internationally as Pokémon Horizons: The Series, has completed its fifth arc, メガボルテージ Mega Voltage, which aired in Japan on September 19th. After a 2 week break, the series will resume on October 10th with a 3-episode mini-arc, エピソード:メガシンカ Episode: Mega Evolution, which will take place between the one-year timeskip between the fourth and fifth arcs, and follow the characters Roy, and Uruto during their Mega Evolution training. This arc will take place in Lumiose City, tying in to Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Then, starting October 31st, the sixth main arc, Rising Again, will see Liko and company head to Blueberry Academy, the region introduced in The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Internationally, the second season of the series (which includes the third and fourth Japanese arcs) is being released in the United States and most territories exclusively on Netflix, with the final batch of episodes dropping September 26th. The series is also available on BBC iPlayer in the United Kingdom, on Teletoon and Cartoon Network in Canada, on 9Go! in Australia, and on the Pokémon Asia ENG YouTube channel in Southeast Asia. No information about the international release of the next season, which would potentially include the fifth, mini-special, and sixth arcs, has been announced so far.

Only thing I have to say right now (especially in regards to adapting Indigo Disk) is this- good luck and don't screw it up.

Dub has a lot to deal with here. Arc 5, the 3-episode mini-arc and now Arc 6. Season 3 looking quite big for them. October is looking very promising with this news.

The poster and the title don't really look that...imaginative lol. But the content looks interesting. I think Blueberry Academy will cover the rest of the first part with 8 episodes. It may feel like a rethread of Terastal Debut but we need varied battles again and it's nice they're respecting the games' double battle format. It doesn't look like they'll be given Megas to promote Z-A so promotion's taking a backseat. I think that this is where Crocalor and Quaxwell will evolve and that these will be the matches:

-Drayton vs Roy
-Lacey vs Liko (please give her a win for once)
-Amarylis vs Dot
-Crispin vs Ult

I feel if Kieran were to appear as the champion he'd have been in the poster but he could still get a cameo.

Part 2 (the remaining 11 episodes) seems like they'll cover the search for Friede as well as possibly an Spinel rematch. Since it's too short of a timeframe I think it definitely confirms that these series will not end in Spring and keep going for the remainder of 2026.

Don't know about the remainder- if anything; I could see one last arc to end HZ in the first half of 2026, then something for Generation X when it gets closer to those titles releasing. Also, promotion is less of a "backseat" for Z-A and more given to Episode of Mega Evolution instead (not against an OVA like other recent titles got either).
