New areas like the sevii islands were add to FR/LG in the remakes why not something like orange islands this time?I just want them!!

I don't care I just want another new area(not the mentioned ones) well I don't care what you tell,I just want any new area that has many challenges..

Sevii Islands or nothing.

The last thing I await in HGSS is the new region.

Sevii, however, would be very nice. Especially that the region has some ties to Johto, it would be cool to have them explained. Also, I would love to see how this region changed during those three years...

If Kanto's still in, I don't think you can count on any large scale areas or island collections, given the memory those two regions will eat up.

I think the Sevii Islands will still be there, but if they're not maybe they could give some kind of explanation akin to Cinnabar Island being destroyed.

Cianwood isn't on an island, it's connected to Johto.

As stated, Orange Islands will never be in any game (unless it's based on the anime like Puzzle League)

The most likely thing they'll do in the way of new areas is to add them directly in the mainland. I'm thinking things like re-expanding Viridian Forest and adding a cave to Cinnabar Island. Seviis are a possibility, but I wouldn't count on it, unless there's room to expand Kanto and add the islands in.

Cianwood DOES look a bit different (it has two big wooden bridges now) on the map art, so I wouldn't be surprised if it does have something new there.

Maybe just a field to train on, but still.

I think the Sevii islands can be added without a problem, since the DS cards have more storage memory then the Gameboy cartridges. Adding new locations would also be one of the ways to make it stand out from the original Gold and Silver, plus it makes it related to Firered and Leafgreen in a way.

Though even then, the chances are really small.

First off, the Orange Islands won't be in this game or any game, EVER. I don't care that you want it, you won't get it.

But I would like the Sevii Islands, since there's enough room on the DS Card.

No it is not. Japan is what the Pokemon region is based on. Look at this map:

Shikoku the highlighted part has Cianwood as the tip. So they could easily make it have a larger island like part behind. Or..

So yeah why not?

I doubt they'll include the entire island of Shikoku in HGSS since it's a potential candidate for being the 5th gen region. Including this new island,Johto,Kanto,AND the Sevil Islands is quite alot of space. Though I can see GameFreak expanding the tiny island Olvine is on and maybe a little strip of it.

Also,Orre looks tiny compared to the other regions. o_O I don't think it's that small.

Shikoku is the smallest province and well look at it does it really seem fit as a small island to be a region? best bet is above Kanto/Johto or south of Sinnoh.

It looks like there's a new little water-themed area to the left of the National Park, I think. It's a bit too small to be Olivine. Is it the dock for the S.S. Aqua? That's attached to south Olivine...

Not necessarily - compare Sinnoh and Hokkaidō. The Battle Zone looks a hell of a lot like it's the excess Western part of Hokkaidō clipped off and moved to the northeast. The actual topography of Japan has always influenced the games, but they aren't bound to it - hence Hoenn's 90-degree rotation from the original Kyūshū.
