Does anyone have any cool ideas for new battle frontier facilities in the fifth generation? Do you think they should include the battle frontier in the first two games or keep it only as part of a third version?

Battle Arcade: same name as the one in Pt/HGSS, but completely different (involves playing arcade games)
Battle Corporation: you invest in something similar to stock. Depending on how your stock does, you would get a certain amount of facility-exclusive points after each battle to spend on healing, information, etc. like in the Battle Castle. This tests your abilities of predicting financial outcomes. The frontier brain would be "CEO ?????", or provide a plot twist and make it Steven Stone's father.

Battle Safari: Similar to the battle pyramid, you have to find your way to the next level and be challenged by trainers and wild pokemon along the way. The twist is that each area contains one of the five weather effects sunlight, rain, hailstorm, sandstorm, and fog. The frontier brain could also specialize in a weather based team. It would basically test a pokemons endurance and ability to overcome those weather effects in battle.

Battle Caverns Similar to the battle pike, you have to test your luck as you advance deeper into the caverns and choose different pathways to go down that may contain a trainer(s) or wild pokemon. The only difference is no items allowed, this time you have to buy items along the way with points you earn from beating trainers.

Also a facility that involves only being able to use three pokemon of the same type would be cool.

Battle Dentist Office
This. Along with Battle Veterinarian Office, Battle Pediatrician Office, Battle ER, and the head building of the Facilities and the toughest of all Frontier buildings in the world, Battle Waiting Room.

a place where you can do 6 0n 6 battle this would be awsome1!!!1!!!1!!!

I've thought of seven facilities for the new Battle Frontier:
Battle Tower-Not new, but this one is a classic.
Battle Factory-Another classic.
Battle Labyrinth- You must go through a maze in the dark and defeat seven trainers. There will also be wild Pokemon, items, and traps in the maze. After you defeat a trainer, they will give you a hint to the next one.
Battle Academy- Before each battle, you must answer a trivia question about Pokemon. Your time of answering and whether or not you were correct will determine the strength of your opponent. Defeat seven trainers.
Battle Court- You have three Pokemon in your party. One match is made up of 3 one on one battles. Best two out of three battles means you win the match. Defeat seven trainers.
Battle Train- Each battle is timed. You must defeat you opponent in the time given. Time does not count during attack sequences, only on the battle menu. Defeat seven trainers.
Battle Bank- You have what are called Bank Points. Before each battle you can wage your points to earn more. You can use these to buy items, etc. If you run out of points, you lose. Defeat seven trainers.

Battle Mirror:

At the start of every 3 vs. 3 battle each of your pokemon has 1 move randomly replaced with mimic. Since it is random mimic moves can also be possibly replaced

1st Frontier Brain Battle: team exactly the same as your at that point, so will have the same mimic moves.

2nd Frontier Brain Battle: Team is exactly the same as your own before entering, so without mimic changes.

Don't mean to squelch your dreams, but,

Battle Labyrinth
sounds like Battle Pike

Battle Train sounds like Trainer Hill

Battle Bank
sounds like Battle Castle

Battle Simulation:
You'll be given a quest before each battle, and you will have to obey it. If you fail 1 (perhaps 2?) random pokémon will faint.

For example:
Finish the battle in 6 turns. Finish the battle without gaining a status. Finish the battle using only 1 attack per pokémon. Finish the battle with only 1 pokémon out. etc. etc.

I think this one is good. But the name needs some work. "Battle Simulation"... not a catchy name.

And who said the facilities had to completely original!?!
Why can't they be based off of other facilities but with a new twist?

I'd like it if the Battle factory was brought back, but a new feature that can be added is being able to view the stats/moves of pokemon you want to switch to after a battle, it would help alot.

well, the challenge of the battle factory is the fact that you have to find out that info while battling. If you could just see it then there would be no point in battling.

I'm gonna steal this name because I think it better fits this idea.

Battle Safari:You fight many trainers and wild Pokemon in many different rooms which each have different but somewhat predictable paths to other rooms and then to the Frontier Brain. The big difference is that you begin with one Pokemon only(maybe two if there's double battles and not sure if the one poke should be your own or the facilities) and you catch Pokemon along the way to the Brain. The trainers will always have an equal number of pokes as you.

Battle Safari. Very similar to the Battle Hall, but instead you would run around trying to find these rank 1-10 pokemon in lakes, grass, mountains,ect... Kinda like a combination of the Pal Park and Safari Zone.

Re: Battle Frontier
maybe the park is one

but if there is one I hope it's not the sinnoh one

I hope it's new or Hoenns

I like this idea. That would be a badass addition to the battle frontier. Only if you could keep the pokemon you catch or at least keep their pokedex entries outside of the battle area.
