Before anyone goes telling me to search, I already did, and there is no thread in this section with the word 'Breeding' in its title.

Does anyone think Black & White will introduce new ways to breed or advances to the Day-Care system? I have a few ideas myself.

"Hybrid" Pokemon
Yes, I am aware this possibility has been stated before in some thread about a "Fusion Machine", but It'd be pretty cool if you took 2 specific Pokemon (meaning not all Pokemon could breed Hybrids) holding a specific item and leave them in the Day-Care. They could breed into an entirely different species with an entirely different evolutionary line, while still having traits similar to both parents.

More than One Day-Care per Game
It would be incredibly helpful if there were two or three Day-Cares, or simply the option to leave Pokemon in the Daycare in "Sets" (Like you leave Charizard and Ditto in one "Set" so they can breed and Raichu and Lopunny in another "Set" so they can breed separately from the other "Set".)

Conservation Stone?
A Hold-Item like an Everstone, but instead of preventing Evolution, it prevents your Pokemon from learning moves via level-Up. Would be really Helpful so your Pokemon doesn't forget strong moves and has them replaced by weaker ones while in the Day-Care.

Well, those were my ideas, what do YOU, Bulbagarden Community think should be implemented into the Breeding System? Discuss.

I don't think we'll see hybrids anytime soon.

More than one daycare would be a plus.

They have Move Maniacs for the third thing.

I like the idea of more than one Day Care, or more room in the one.
Hybrid Pokémon would be interesting, but I very much doubt it'll be in BW.

Hey there PBJ. Just gonna give my opinion here.

What I'd like to see is something like how you breed an Illumise with a Volbeat, you can get either a Volbeat or Illumise. What GPXPlus does, to be more exact, with no chance of getting a Pineco from two mammalian Pokes.

That would be awesome and I was kinda hoping they did that wjhen I got my FireRed and, later, my SoulSilver. It would be awesome.

Another awesome idea if you leave your Pokes in the daycare for leveling. Not that I do that. I run PokeMills. >:)
I kid, I kid. But I love Dittos when I need to remake my team, like now.

Truthfully, I'd like the Daycare to be on a decent egg hatching route, like in RSE and DPPt. Not GSCFRLGHGSS. Although, I like the loop through Lavender, Saffron, Celadon and Fuchsia for hatching.

I like the concept of hybrid Pokemon (but I might not like some of the designs). Also, I want multiple day cares, so I can have multiple breeding projects going on.

No hybrids.

Multiple daycares would be cool.

No conservation stones.

Something I read on another forum is a pretty insteresting Hybrid Idea that said that it would be a good idea that, as Negative and Positive magnetic poles attract, it would be awesome if you could breed Plusle and Minun, and get Pichu. Not only do they resemble each other, but the idea is plausible.

Not really. They would have done that by now if it was. Plus, for that to make sense, Plusle and Minun should originally be from Kanto/Johto.

They have Move Maniacs for the third thing.

And not all the parent's moves can come just from the level-up lists of each species but also from Move Tutors, egg chains, special events or TMs. For example, say that you put a Lv. 1 Male Ralts with Will-o-Wisp/Shadow Sneak in the Day Care and you want to preserve both moves without having to check each 5 min. the current level of the Pokémon. The proposed item of Mr. PBJ would help to keep the moves on the Pokémon in an easy way.

The hybrids only if it'd be with newly introduced pokémon.

We already had multiple daycares in Fr/Lg, and I don't think they'll reuse the concept.

And the only new stone I'd like to see is one that makes sure the kid gets the same ability as the parent (to make breeding easier).

But you can only breed in one of them, the idea here is that you can breed in two or more day cares simultaneously.

With no chance of getting a Pineco from two mammalian Pokes.

You're missing my point. It's not the possibility to get, say, a Pikachu by breeding Ghastly and Caterpie, it's two specific Pokemon breeding and making a Hybrid Species that can only be attainable by breeding these two. Sorta like Manaphy and Phione.

The hybrid thing would be interesting, as long as they only used specific generation V pokemon. We can't say that they definitely won't do it. I mean, phione comes from breeding two different pokemon. Why couldn't they do more stuff like that?

The multiple day are center thing would be convenient too. I kind of prefer the different "sets" though.

I would love a conservation stone. I hate having to worry about my pokemon forgetting moves for others that i don't care about at all. One time, in yellow, i left my pikachu in the day care center for like 5 minutes and it forgot thundershock for quick attack. And then i accidently deleted quick attack for i think double team because i was used to it going to a different screen when you learn a new move like in ruby.

These are some good ideas. I hope they use all of them.

PBJ, do you even have a GPXPlus account? You took my quote out of context. Note what I said:

The last line, which you chopped and quoted was the one you responded to. I'm just going to say right now that it's one of the stupidest things on GPXPlus and that's why I said to not have it in.

Whenever I had brought up the prospect of this idea, no one thought it was good, mostly because they thought I meant something like DNA Digivolve or allowing every species to do it, when I was much more specific on how it would work, so I conclude people can't read. Oh yeah, and mentioning a mule as a hybrid automatically made it a bad idea >_>

I like this idea, and like how real hybrids can't breed, I think these ones shouldn't be able to either.

I also like the conservation stone, especially for quick leveling up of Pokemon that you bred to have good move sets.

Just imagine this in your team. I am and I want hybrids very, very badly. That being said, GF could make a few specific pokes breed together to make hybrids. But at the same time I don't want all pokes to make hybrids. Example, I am breeding a Quagsire with a Milotic for a hazing milotic. Ewww,

even that adorable picture does not make me want to have hybrids. We're going to have 600 normal pokemon. We don't need thousands more.

It won't be thousands more because not every Pokemon are going to be able to make a hybrid with each other.

I know. If all of them could breed, that'd be hundreds of thousands more.

I'm fine whit specific hybrids, since we have Phoine already, which technically is just such a hybrid.
