So since Sun/Moon's major thing aside from the regional variants were Z-Moves, what species exclusive Z-Moves would you like to see?

From what it looks like in the trailer, there seems to be Z-Moves for Mimikyu, Midday Lycanroc, and potentially Togedemaru.

As for me, if they're going to give one to Midday Lycanroc, I'd hope Midnight gets its own as well. And hopefully Solgaleo/Lunala get their own Z-Moves. It bugged me that they didn't get their own.

I guess more Legendary Pokemon getting them would be cool. Mimikyu getting one would be awesome, IMO, considering her lore *w* I would like to see Midnight Lycanroc getting one, now that you mention it, seeing as it has virtually nothing special about it compared to Midday's with its Signature Move~

I'd love something for Magearna since the gear motif is something they could play around with. And Lunala and Solgaleo, of course, they already have signature moves ready to go. X3

Have Tsareena's Trop Kick become a Z-Move. As is, having your strongest STAB be only have a 70 base power is pretty pitiful. If GF wants to force people to use Trop Kick on Tsareena, you need to make it more powerful. Having it upgrade into a Z-Move that can maybe move up to 200 base power would be the perfect way to do so in this generation! The same treatment should be given to Kommo-o given that its most powerful Fighting-type physical STAB is Sky Uppercut of all things.

Also, give extremely useful Z-Moves to the Johto Starters. It would be a great contrast to how the Kanto Starters could Mega Evolve.

Ya, giving Megas to every starters would be too predictable and boring for Game Freak.
Giving Z moves to some starters, or an ultra fusion form thingy, instead of Megas would be quite a nice idea instead.

So, what? One sec...
Meganium is a defensive Grass type, giving it a Z-Move that does damage and restores HP/increases defensive stats.
Typhlosion is a special Fire sweeper, a Z-Move that always burns as well as high damage would dent any team.
Feraligatr is a Physical Water type, a high damage priority move like a special Z-Aqua Jet would be awesome.

I can't believe I never thought of the idea that those focuses on Togedemaru, Midday Lycanroc, and Mimkyu could have that they are getting their own exclusive Z-Moves. If so, I do hope that Midnight Lycanroc also gets one. And the Legendaries should get them as well, figuring as they are the legendaries that represent Alola.

I do hope though that the Pokemon who get exclusive Z-moves are the ones that didn't get Mega Evolution. I think it would be cool if the Spheal line got a Z-Move for their signature Ice Ball move.

I'd personally prefer if every starter got a form of some sort instead of a Z Move... but well, Z Moves for Johto Starters will do.
Or, even better, give the Johto starters Ultra Forms

I don't actually like the idea of Pokémon-specific z-moves. To me, it seems to defeat the purpose of what game Freak wanted with the z-moves. Like, with megas, only Pokémon with megas can mega-evolve. But with z-moves, you can put a z-crystal on any Pokémon you like and give it that ultimate attack. But then you have exclusive z-moves, which again restrict to just one Pokémon. And they're typically better than the basic z-moves. So... I don't care for them.

I hope in US/UM, we'll find out more about Z-moves, so far in Sun/Moon, the only thing the Z-ring does is unleash powerful moves and use one per battle. I'm trying see to what Z-ring does more?

I would like to see more exclusive ones with additional effect, like priority, stat raise, inflict condition, healing, etc. So far most attacking Z-moves are just fancy looking one use beat stick, which is good when used by strong Pokemon but still does not improve weak ones. I think the developers are a bit foolish when they envision that Z-moves would diversify team choices in competitive setting. I chuckled a bit when Oomori said during interviews that with Z-moves can be used by every Pokemon. What I think he implied is that it would make weaker Pokemon more viable, which is laughable if he really meant it.

Yes, I feel that there should be more Z-moves with additional effects. Certain exclusive moves having them is great, such as Mewnium-Z setting Psychic Terrain in addition to a powerful attack. Z-status moves are a good direction, but I think it would be great if certain Z attacks are given extra effects to really make them worth carrying around. Maybe for example, Z-Giga Drain will recover your HP in addition to attacking the opponent.

I think there is a point when it's mentioned that weaker Pokemon can be more viable. Take for example, Z-Conversion's effect raises all of the user's stats, which made Porygon-Z dangerous since it's the best user of that move. Of course, this still comes down to which users learn certain moves.

Thanks for reading.
