Do you think any new forms will be introduced in Gen V? For example, we could have number-based Unowns, a sandstorm Castform, etc.

If you think there might be new forms, post your ideas.
 
I wonder how no one made such a thread yet (or at least I didn't see any thread like this before)
With all their different forms thing in the current gen, I won't be surprised if next gen we'll have a few new Poké who will have different forms and we might even see new forms to existing Pokémon
I think the forms idea is nice and they should use it a little more next gen (but not overuse it either... like 5 new Poké with different forms and 5 old ones with new forms)

I'm not even sure if that'w what you exactly meant since you mentioned something like Unown which is only different in appearance and can't change between its forms, but what I talked about is of course more similar to Deoxys, Rotom, Giratina, etc...
 
I really don't want new forms (like Giratina and Shaymin)

But like hippowdon and Gastrodon, that's fine.
 
I really home there aren't any more unowns or any other forms for castform.
Oh but Shaymin needs a sea form.

I'd like another Shaymin form...maybe one that you can actually get in the game, instead of having to go to some special event.
 
I think it's possible they'll have new forms introduced into the game, however, one can never be too sure so I'm not going to say it won't happen or it's definite.

Who said you had to go anywhere? All you need is Oak's Letter in Pt and to catch that Shaymin...
 
I would say there will be a new Gastrodon Form, but I doubt there would be for the others.

I second the castform idea. It doesn't make sense that it changes in some weather conditions and doesn't in others. It should also change in fog to a ghost type, or something like that.
 
The only real need for new formes is in the Third versions of games, so that the Pokedex isn't all screwed up. In the first two versions, I don't see why they wouldn't just evolve things.

But for the other type of formes (not Giratina style) like Gastrodon, I'm definately keen.
 
The only new forme I would want is a Sandstorm-Castform, as have been mentioned earlier. I like Castform, and I think it's a shame that it didn't get this forme when it was introduced.

But other than that, I don't want any new formes really, at least of old pokémon. And besides, adding formes to pokémon is in my opinion boring.
 
Like everyone else said, Sandstorm Castform. There should also be a Fog Castform (it can turn into a Ghost-type, assuming Fog makes a comeback as weather).

Or maybe new Rotom forms? (new appliances)
 
look, castform's forms are all weather related-they made all 3.. The Winter-Hail Form, Spring-well assuming that this is the season that it rains Rain Form and Summer-Sun Form... What is left is the Fall Form-that may be its Sandstorm or at least make another weather that dries Grass types

i dont really know how they would make that, but i think it's possible.. :)


ooh.. and for Rotom, i wonder why they didnt give it a TV Form??? it may become its Dark or Psychic Form,, haha coz you know? TVs can control minds, wahhaha

I don't mind if they do multi-form Pokemon (either Pokemon fully introduced in Gen V, or giving a couple past-generation Pokemon new forms). However, I would appreciate it if Game Freak would plan this all out in advance, so that the forms exist in all the Gen V games and not just the 3rd version. I'm tired of silly trading restrictions, and having held items disengage, etc.
