I'm so happy. FMA ranks up as #1 on my all-time favorite animes, and whether it's good or bad, I'm happy for their revival.
 
So it's gonna be a remake of the manga from start to finish? Alot of People prefer the manga to the anime. I love both though. Wonder when it's getting dubbed.
 
I do hope it gets dubbed. I opted not to buy the manga, and if this is simply an anime of the manga rather than a different story, I may not have to. =D
 
Wow, this is sweet... and I was just about to give in and read the manga.

EDIT: After looking at it a little bit more, it appears that this might be a total rehash since:

mustang still has both eyes in the trailer? Which is cool because I don't know how they would have pulled it off since the movie pretty clearly left them in the real world.
Or at the very least its branching off somewhat.

I'm really happy about this. FMA is one of my favorites, and it's great that they're making an anime series of the manga.
 
I hate how everyone puts reading the manga off as this horrible last resort thing.

OH NOEZ, I CAN'T POSSIBLY DO IT, THERE ARE TOO MANY LETTERS AND THE PICTURES DON'T MOVE!!!one!1!

I often find manga more enjoyable than anime.
 
Me too. Takes a lot less of my time and, most of the time, it's the original thing so I don't have to watch some dumbed down or stretched out version to enjoy a story.

Not that I don't enjoy some anime (I loved the original FMA anime and that's what got me into the manga), but waiting for the anime instead of reading the manga just strikes me as lazy.

Absolutely. Now if it were something like AIR, then I think it'd be better to watch the anime.(Considering that the AIR manga is hentai, but the AIR anime is an extremely touching story with no hentai whatsoever.)
 
I don't know why I've stopped reading the manga but I have, and never picked it back up. It's definitely good though, I preferred some parts to the Anime and some parts to the Manga... but they are so different now and I thought that the Anime already had a good ending so I don't know what they'll put in this sequel series or even if they can use the manga as a base. (Unless they start over, which it looks like it's going to be doing from reading the posts)
 
The Azumanga Daioh anime is better than the manga. Better art, funnier jokes, cute music.
 
I thought the original FMA series was really, really boring... so I don't know if I'll bother with this one. Maybe if it airs on TV at some point.

Reading manga is a very enjoyable experience, its just a matter of finding the time to catch up on 80+ chapters. I actually like how the pictures don't move. xD

I find manga more enjoyable for that reason as well. I always think of the time and effort it took for the artists to make it.
 
i wonder if they will have the same voices for them
