New glittery plushes coming to Pokémon Centers in Japan, plus new Safari Ball replica from The Wand Company available online now

The Pokémon Company has announced a small collection of plushes that have a smooth, glittery texture, which will be arriving at Pokémon Centers in Japan beginning on December 13th, and to the Pokémon Center Online on December 11th. Meanwhile, The Pokémon Company International is continuing to collab with The Wand Company for collectors’ quality Poké Ball replicas, this time debuting a new Safari Ball, available online now at the Pokémon Center websites serving the US and Canada.

The glittery plush collection fittingly features Pokémon which are known for being beautiful or eye-catching, including Vaporeon, Corsola, Milotic, and Lumineon. These plushes, which are meant more as decor items than as toys, will each retail for ¥4,400 ($28.35 USD). All four plushes will be available via Amazon Japan beginning December 20th, with preorders opening on December 13th.

As previously announced, The Wand Company is continuing its range of full-size Poké Ball replicas with a new Safari Ball added to the line. The new Safari Ball, just like the previous full-size Poké Ball replicas, features proximity-sensitive and touch-sensitive lights powered by a rechargeable battery. The button on the front plays a Pokémon-catching light sequence, and it comes with a display case and a stainless steel ring for display outside the case. The Ball comes in just under 3 inches in diameter, “based on its actual size within the world of Pokémon.” The Safari Ball retails for $109.99 USD / $142.99 CAD.
