Hey everybody, I'm a 26 year old Pokemon video game fan in San Antonio Texas by way of Shannon, Mississippi. I know that might be a little old in the range of people that play Pokemon games but hey, I don't care particularly for anybody elses criticisms or whatever, I would play with Barbie dolls if that's what I enjoyed doing, in short I'm not a follower and peer pressure doesn't exist, I do what I want. I use Bulbapedia alot for info while playing my games so I figured why not give the forums a try? It's not like I know anybody else that plays Pokemon so this might be fun to talk to some people that have Pokemon in common with me. Quick question: I read the rules and I don't see anything about language in there. I've got a pretty bad habit for letting obscenities fly and not realizing it, is it against the site rules? If so I'll just have to watch what I post. Hope to get acquainted with everybody.
 
Hi, welcome to BMGf. Dont worry you arent too old, I'm 25 myself and still a loyal fan of Pokemon :) As for the question about language? Swearing is allowed to a certain extent as long as it isn't directed at another member which I think would be considered flaming or is excessive, like every other word being a swear word, but you wont get in trouble just for using a swear word in a post.

Welcome to the Forums, wc662! Don't worry, you're far from being the oldest person here : ) As for language, what G50 said is correct: you can say whatever you want as long as you're not breaking any other rules or making any particularly inflammatory statements.

thanks for the warm welcomes, cool forum, I think I'll stick around... Hopefully I can get a DS soon and we can do some Global trading :D
